Five years after you joined the academy, you are now a full member of the Hero's Guild. You've spent countless hours scouring arcane tomes and scrolls, and we now a bona fide sorcerer capable of all kinds of magic spells and enchantments. You were kind of overwhelmed at first, with all the varieties of magic there were, and being asked to pick a specialization. But you eventually decided why just learn one specific type, when you could do all kinds of magic?
You enter the Guild Hall, clad in the basic blue robe with gold trim, and a staff of birchwood in your hand. As you walk into the foyer, you notice a handsome young warrior in golden armor. You had never seen him before, but immediately know who he is. It's Arnin the Ageless, you know him by his armor and from the stories your parents told you as a child.
They say he's been a hero in the guild for several decades, but he never gets any older. If you were to ask him why, he'd say he was blessed by the goddess Hymna as a reward for saving her temple and priestesses from an attacking archdragon. You can't help but be somewhat starstruck at the sight of him, after all the tales you'd heard of him and his great deeds.
He notices you gawking and chuckles. "I take it you're new here?" He says, shaking your hand. You nod. "Arnin the Ageless, at your service." "Taren Feldrake at yours. My parents used to tell me so many stories about you! Like how you single handedly fought an entire werewolf pack and won! Or how you Retrieved the egg of the Queen of the Dragons from that rogue necromancer in his own fortress!"
Arnin chuckled again. "Well, what can I say, I was born for this line of work. Maybe someday you'll be as legendary as me. Until then, good luck on your adventures my friend!" With that, he exited the hall and you make your way to the quest board, still in awe you'd met one of your childhood idols. Now, what shall your first adventure be?
