Freshman orientation was such a drag. At least, that's what the boys always thought of the pomp and circumstance and dance parties, especially the less social guys. But the four young dudes spending most of their scheduled assembly time in the dingy basement game room, hooking up all their devices and getting them (and their roomates) onto the wifi, were about to spend the year socializing in their own ways, over games, banter...
And food. Little did Ben, Frank, Henry or Todd know, but their appetites were going to be fully paid for by King of Prussia College (home of the Monarchs!) and its new unlimited meal plan. But before we examine what happened to these social outcasts, it's good to know who we're dealing with first.
Benjamin "Ben" Boyer - At 6 foot 2 and just 160 pounds, Ben was easily the lankiest of the group, but also its most outgoing member. President of his high school Chess Club, a student council member, and an avid gamer, Ben is jovial, talkative, and a big swing and a miss with the ladies, so far. The philosophy degree he's after will put him into far more debates as it will time in the gym, certainly judging by his sharp dressed clothes (yep, he's the "suit to class" kind of kid). His bottomless pit appetite shocked many of his peers and family members, mostly because of his seeming inability to ever put on weight. This has left him with long brown hair framing a thin face, little muscle mass, and as he puts it, "negative ass". Being the ringleader of the boys and a very competitive type, would he make eating a sport of kings?
Francis "Frank" DiNucci III - From a long line of football players and blue collar dudes, Frank is definitely the black sheep of his family. In character, that is. In size, Frank is 6'6 and sitting just short of the big trips at 295 pounds, mostly of fat from hours of sitting around playing tabletop games. Like all DiNuccis, he has curly black hair and is quite hairy all over, including an attempted beard. Clothes for the big man are hard to come by, outside of big and tall jeans and t shirts, not exactly a fancy book-learnin type. He's quiet, slow to anger, and pretty preoccupied with trying to make "normal" friends, self concious as he is. Does he take camaraderie or comfort in food, and just how much does he surround himself with? His engineering degree will put him right in front of a computer all day...
Henry Wiggins - Henry is 3 things: pudgy, puny, and proud to be gay! A fashion major who enjoys gaming to kill stress, 5'5 Henry has always felt like he needed to make male friends to be successful after college. He's easily the most willing of the foursome to talk to girls, but guys are what he most enjoys ogling. Part of his trouble, though, is the fetish he has; he really wants to gain weight and become a proper chub for a larger (and hopefully richer!) man. He's put 180 pounds onto his 5'5 frame, with very wide hips and a soft tummy framed by sharp clothes, professional looking hair and neat glasses. Will he meet the Grindr feeder (or is it feedr?) of his dreams at school?
Todd Hashimoto - A half-Asian kid from the suburbs, Todd feels that he's under intense pressure to at once focus on his studies but also let loose like he never did in high school! At 5'10 and 170 pounds, one might consider him to have a "swimmer's build". That's probably because he did in fact swim (and run track) back in high school, keeping the pounds at bay despite his gaming and snacking habits. But will he still have the old athletic discipline he once did to go with his mostly workout clothes apparel? Or does constant munching finally get the best of him once he's been around some heavy hitters? His indecision (marked by his Undecided major) will be a big factor in this...
