Chapter #4

No, one of the other girls spots him

    by: Tisch Author IconMail Icon
"Ew, Trish you have a bug crawling up your shirt" one of the girls, Eliza, pointed out. Trish looked down and noticed Jack trying to crawl up her. "What the hell? Get it off!" Trish yelled. The girls laughed, but Jack was starting to panic. Now that the girls know that he's there, he won't be able to get all the way up Trish unless some sort of miracle happened.

Trish desperately tried to get whatever was crawling on her shirt off of her. It didn't look like any bug she had ever seen before. It almost looked like... a person? No, that couldn't be. People aren't normally that small. Trish kept swatting and swatting, but was unable to get the persistent little creature from falling off.

"Guys, would you mind helping? I don't want whatever the hell this is to give me a disease or something" Trish demanded. The bravest of the group, Rylee, conceded and plucked the creature off of Trish's shirt.

Jack, who had done spectacularly to have stayed on this long, felt to giant fingers grasp him and pull him off of Trish's shirt. When he turned towards the person who had grabbed him, he saw a girl with wavy black hair, dark brown eyes, pale skin, and from what he could tell from the front side, a very fit body. The girl pulled him up close to get a better look at him.

"Guys? I don't think this is a bug at all. This looks like a human being" Rylee remarked. "It looks like a guy, he's wearing normal clothes and everything". The group was bewildered. Jack decided to speak up. "Hi! Yes, I'm a real person, my name's Jack and I'm sixteen. I needed to get the attention of one of you, so I could get some help" Jack told. The girls gasped. Rylee was the first to approach him.

"Well, so you are real and you do speak. I suppose you were coming here looking for a good time, huh?" Rylee sarcastically said. Jack was feeling a little pressure. "No! No! I just needed help because I'm so small! That girl in the back was trying to kidnap me and I needed to get away from her!". The girls looked back at Jessica and smugly laughed. "Yeah, she is an odd one for sure. Well, girls, anyone want him?" Rylee offered. Jack was confused. "Want me?" he thought, "This isn't an auction". Before any takers could bid, Trish swiped Jack out of Rylee's hand.

"Considering he was climbing up MY shirt, I say that I should be able to take him" Trish claimed. While the other girls weren't exactly thrilled to hear that, she was essentially the leader of the group, so they all relented. Trish then turned to Jack. "Listen, little guy, my necklace was confiscated by a teacher and sent to the office, you think you can get it for me? I'll be down to do whatever for you if you manage to get it" Trish winked. Jack wasn't entirely keen on doing it, but it wouldn't hurt to gain the trust of one of the most popular girls in school. "Sure, I'll get it done for you. What does it look like?". Trish smiled. "It's a diamond-shaped necklace with a blueish tint in the middle, be sure to keep it nice and clean when you get it to me, otherwise I'll have to get back at you some way" Trish smirked. Jack shivered. He wasn't interested in what she had to say if he didn't complete the quest properly.

Does he go for the necklace today or does he wait? Or does he go back on his promise and decide not to do it?
