Before Jack made it to the hole in Jessica's pocket, a sudden jolt in the other direction caused Jack to fall out and land on the sidewalk. He utilized this opportunity to hide in a large cluster of grass in a nearby lawn to get away from Jessica.

Jessica hadn't felt a sensation in her nether region, as she had anticipated. As a matter of fact, she hadn't felt anything anywhere, not even in her pocket. That meant only one thing. Jack managed to fall out of her pocket and make an escape. Jessica was fuming as she got off the ground and took a look around the surrounding area, trying to spot a less than doll sized person. But to no avail. Jessica waited a few more minutes and searched for Jack, but was unable to make any progress, and gave up frustrated. She then continued on her normal path back home.

When Jack had seen that Jessica had given up and left, he did a victory fist pump. But now, he had to try and make his way back home from here. Oh! But he had the shrink ray on him, he could just change back to normal and go home! Actually, no, he couldn't. Jack looked around him and noticed more than a few people were wandering the surrounding street and he decided that it would be best if he didn't grow back here. Jack thought that if even one person had spotted him grow back to his normal size, they would try and accompany him whenever he shrunk down and seize him for their own.

But now with no opportunity to grow back, how is Jack going to make his way home?
