You saw what was a creepypasta monster/supposed cryptid on earth, a fleshgait, https://www.deviantart.com/goatsbleach/a... https://paranormalauthority.com/fleshgai... https://para.wiki/w/Fleshgait lapping up water with its gnarled hand. It raised its face up, and saw you with its sunken eyes.

You hate how common these things are in Illyrium. You know what they're capable of, and how many beginner adventurers have died to their claws. You also got in trouble with the law a lot by killing fleshgaits who were still wearing stolen skin. Or at least you did.

The fleshgait let out its typical chittering before unleashing a vicious hiss. You drew out the sword you used during your evil days https://sta.sh/02g8xwb2xfyv not as powerful as it was centuries ago, but still very useful. The fleshgait charges!
