Olivia grew up in an affluent household, but that did not force her to fit in; ever since she was a young girl, her father had pushed her to aim for the top. She never allowed anyone to surpass her, and it defined her life. In order to be ahead of her class, she got up earlier than everyone else to go jogging, had intellectual activities after school, and then went to private tutors to reinforce what she learned in high school.
Her personal life was less outstanding, despite the fact that her work life was unstoppable. Her circle of friends was small because she thought most people were useless because they couldn't live up to the standards she set. This had an impact on her relationships, which lasted only briefly because her partners would drift apart when they weren't together because she was constantly busy and never put them first.
Additionally, when she did see them, she would criticise them because she believed they were flawed for whatever reason. If they weren't perfect, they weren't worth her effort because they were only a symbol of her position.
Her mother revealed to her that she was adopted; her father had never dared to tell her out of concern that she would be rejected by her biological family. This revelation came months after her father passed away and she inherited the telecoms company. She sent one of the company's detectives to look into it because she didn't think it was true.
When she eventually learned who her real mother was, she was shocked to learn what was said in the report. She also learned that she had a twin sister, who was not sold and was raised by her original mother. Her biological mother was a prostitute and drug addict who had lived in the city until she was run over two years ago when she got into the road drunk.
She gives the investigator instructions to follow her and learn everything about her sister after hearing the awful news.
Later, when Olivia gets to his office, the investigator greets her and fills her in on everything concerning her sister while she reads the report and peruses the photographs he took.
Sara Miller, her sister, was a stripper at a local club where she performed under the stage name Sadie "the princess."
Sara later learned from her mother, who had taken Sara out of school at age 16 to help her work at the club, that she occasionally slept with customers to earn extra money to pay her apartment's rent.
Additionally, he discovered that she has a partner who spends the most of their money on gambling after studying her and speaking to neighbours.
