"Do you trust me?" Stephanie asked as she rose from the counter, hiding something behind her back.
"Well, we just met but I like to think I have a good read on people," said Judy. "Sly foxes not withstanding. You seem like you genuinely want to help me. So, sure. I'll trust you."
"Give me your paw then."
Judy raised her paw to be grabbed by the giant goat. No sooner than she grasped Judy did she produce a needle from nowhere and pricked the bunny right in the thumb.
"Ow!"
"Sorry!" Stephanie replied as she took the needle head covered in Judy's blood and turned around. "I needed a sample. One moment, please."
As Judy nursed her sore thumb, Stephanie worked with her back turned to the rabbit. She was so large that Judy couldn't see past her to tell exactly what she was doing, only that it involved liquid and the sound of clinking bottles. When Stephanie turned around, she had a hefty looking vial in her hooves filled to the brim with a pleasant lavender colored potion.
"Now then," explained Stephanie. "I want you to trust me on this one. What I'm giving you is some potent stuff. All you need to do is mix a drop in with a drink. A single drop, that's it. Anymore than that can be...Dangerous. But then you take that drink and then give it to someone."
"And they drink it?" Judy asked. "Did you just say it was super dangerous?"
"My dear, sugar is dangerous in extreme doses. Same goes with this. Trust me though, this will solve all your problems. In fact, I'm so confident in it that I'm giving it to you for free. Can it a sample with high hopes that you'll be back someday."
"Well, I suppose if you're giving it for free..." Judy replied as she grabbed the vial. It didn't seem very dangerous, it just looked like purple water. "I guess I'll take it."
"Splendid. Do let me know how it works out for you!"
The two exchanged pleasantries before Judy excused herself from the store, vial still in paw. With all that build up for the item, she was rather curious as to what it would do. Stephanie was vague on exactly how it was supposed to help with the problem of not being there for her family. Little did she know, she was going to be getting into a lot of trouble with the little bottle. Stephanie had just told her to put a drop in someone's drink. The only question was who would be the first victim?
