"Yo, let's go to that water slide over there!" Desiree called out. The group looked over to where she was talking about and saw a massive swirly slide. It didn't take long for the rest of the group to get excited and agree to go. "Jack, you going too?" Portia asked. Jack nodded. "Okay, then I'll take you with me so you don't have to walk so far". She picked him up and closed him in her fist. Under no circumstances did Portia want Jack to fall out and get lost, or worse yet, squashed. It was warm in Portia's hand, but it was tolerable for such a short walk. When the group got to the slide, Portia let Jack down onto the ground, and they waited in line. Jack went to the back of the group.
"Jack, are you sure you don't want to go first?" Kira asked. "Yeah, I'm sure. You guys probably wouldn't be able to see me at the bottom, so you might accidentally hit me or something". Kira shrugged. "Yeah, fair point. Plus, the line ends with you, so you'll have plenty of space". Then, one after another, each friend from the group went down the slide. Finally, Kira got into position, waiting for the lifeguard to give her approval to go down. The lifeguard gave Kira a nod, and off she went, screaming in delight all the way down. Jack was next, and he positioned himself on the slide. He looked back at the lifeguard, but noticed she wasn't looking at him, she was looking at the stairs. "Hey, one person just went down, so you might have to wait a moment. But you can get into position, if you'd like". Jack turned around and saw a girl just finish the climb up the stairs. Apparently, the lifeguard was not aware that Jack was there, nor that he was as small as he was, and had ushered the next normal sized person to the slide.
Jack, for some reason, perhaps out of fear, did not move and only watched as the girl walked over to the slide. She was Latina, and if Jack had something to say about it, very beautiful. Her long black hair glistened in the sun and her body was pronounced by her bathing suit. When she was just about to step onto the slide, Jack did his best to get the girl's attention.
