Lisa was working in her secret bunker one day constructing another one of her insane inventions. She was really committed to this one and did all that she could to make it truly a sight to behold. After a few days of work, it seemed like she was finally able to say that it was finished and ready for demonstration.
However, the young genius of the Loud family wasn't about to let anyone see her newest creation just yet. She had to show it to someone she can trust so that they won't tell anyone else about it. But since there weren't a lot of people in the Loud family who were very good at keeping a secret, she wasn't sure who she could show it to first. There was only one person in her family whom she had enough faith in to trust with her secret.
Lisa then went to find her one and only brother, Lincoln Loud, who was currently playing a video game in the living room. Lisa approached him carefully and made sure there was nobody else around to see her. "Hey Lincoln." She whispered, getting her brother's attention, resulting in him pausing his game.
"Hey Lisa." Lincoln greeted. "What's up?"
"Lincoln, I have something I'd like to show you. Do you think you could come with me to my fallout shelter for a bit? She asked.
Lincoln was hesitant to answer at first, but then he just decided to go along with it. "Okay Lisa. I guess I can go-" He didn't get to finish as Lisa smiled excitedly and pulled him out of the house with her. "Wait, Lisa! What's going on?!"
Lisa brought Lincoln to her fallout shelter and looked around for anyone who could be watching them. Luckily, there was nobody around to see them, including their cranky neighbor, Mr. Grouse. "Lincoln, I have a really amazing invention I wanted to show you, and I believe you are the only person I can trust to keep it a secret. Can you do that for me, please?" Lisa begged, using her cute puppy-dog eyes to try and convince her older brother.
But Lincoln wasn't too sure he wanted to go in since it was one of Lisa's inventions and he usually didn't feel very safe when it came to her creations. "Lisa, if this is another one of your inventions that could put me in the hospital-"
"No no no, elder brother!" Lisa said. "I assure you, this one is completely safe and I have a good feeling about it. All I ask is that you don't tell anyone else about it because I just don't want it to fall into the wrong hands. Okay?" Lisa asked Lincoln with her cute eyes again and Lincoln decided to at least give it a chance, much to Lisa's joy.
They both went into the fallout shelter and Lincoln caught a glimpse of what his second youngest sister has been working on. "Behold Lincoln! My latest invention!" The young genius announced. "I call it the Micro Ship!"
"Wow, Lisa." Lincoln stood dumbfounded by the vehicle in front of him, until a vehicle was pretty much all he could see. "So, what's so great about it?" He asked.
"Allow me to explain, male sibling." Lisa began. "I have created a vehicle that is specially designed to allow the one using it to explore the vastness of the microscopic world beneath our feet."
"Really? You mean it can-"
"That's right, Lincoln." Lisa picked up where he left off. "I have given this vehicle you see before you the ability to change its size with the rider inside of it, and shrink down to microscopic proportions." Lincoln was amazed at what Lisa said and didn't know how to react to it.
"So this thing can actually shrink to bug size?" Lisa nodded at Lincoln's question. "That's, that's pretty amazing, Lisa. What else can it do?"
Lisa began by showing a chart of her new ship's capabilities. "You see, Lincoln. The Micro Ship uses a sub-atomic shrinking module to reduce itself in size along with anyone inside of it. Not only that, it is also capable of adapting to its environments so that it is able to fly through the air, move on any form of land, and even maneuver easily through any liquid."
"So, it can also turn into a plane or a boat?" Lincoln asked. "And so much more than that." Lisa replied.
"I've also equipped the ship with many defense capabilities. It is made with a special metal I developed that makes it completely indestructible and has many weapons that protect it from any incoming threat." Lisa added.
"Wow!" Lincoln said in excitement. "This thing is amazing, Lisa. But why would you want to hide it from everyone?" Lincoln asked.
"I'm just worried it could fall into the wrong hands." She answered. "You understand, dear brother. Who knows what some people could do with it? I'd rather not find out."
"Yeah, I totally get it." Lincoln understood. "So Lisa, can this thing also go inside of someone's body?" Lisa nodded at what Lincoln asked her and proceeded to explain more to Lincoln. "Of course, Lincoln. The Micro Ship can survive inside the digestive tract of a living being and is also invulnerable to any form of harmful bodily fluids or defenses, including stomach acids."
"Is that maybe something you'd be interested in?" Lisa asked with a wide grin. "Well, kind of Lisa. I don't know, I just thought that maybe it could be kind of fun, like on TV." Lincoln replied.
"If you're going to trust me with this secret, then do you think I could take it out for a spin sometime?" Lincoln inquired. "I mean if that's okay with you, since this is your invention."
Lisa wondered if it was a good idea to let her brother use her ship, but then she thought that it couldn't hurt too much. "Well, elder brother, if you really want to, I guess I could let you use it." Lisa said.
"Really, thanks Lisa!" Lincoln gave Lisa a sudden hug, much to her surprise. But then, she just smiled and accepted it. "But, how are we supposed to get this thing out of here?" He asked.
"Fear not Lincoln. While I have informed you that I did give the Micro ship state of the art transforming abilities, I have made it so that it not only uses them to adapt to its surroundings, but it can also transform itself for easy travel and storage."
"Observe." Lisa then pressed a red button on a pedestal next to the ship and Lincoln watched as it instantly disappeared. "What the?!" Lincoln said in surprise. "Where did it go?" He looked around for the ship until Lisa went to where it once stood and picked up a watch that had taken its place.
"It's right here, Lincoln." Lincoln looked at the watch in Lisa's hand and was pretty confused until she explained how it worked. "You see, the Micro ship also uses nanotechnology to mechanically transform itself into a wristwatch that you can wear and carry anywhere with you."
"Whoa." Lincoln looked in shock as Lisa put the watch on his left wrist. "And it can do so much more than just tell time. By pressing this blue button here," Lisa explained pointing to the blue button on the left side of the watch, "it can instantly shrink you in size while you're wearing it. And while you're shrinking, it immediately turns back into a ship so that you can be inside of it once you're done shrinking."
"Lisa, you've outdone yourself." Lincoln complemented patting Lisa on the head. "Now then, I think I'll take this thing out for a little test drive."
"Just so you know, Lincoln." Lisa stopped him. "If you ever need my help to use the ship, there's also a communication device inside of it so that we can keep in touch in case there's trouble. And you also don't have to use the ship itself while you're shrunken. If you're tiny, you can turn it back into a watch and stay that way, however it will still be able to keep you safe by turning into a protective suit. And to grow back to normal size, all you have to do is press this green button next to the blue one here." Lisa explained everything as she pointed to the green button above the blue one that can shrink Lincoln into the ship.
"Okay Lisa, I think I understand everything now. I'll try and keep this thing a secret as much as I can. Thanks again, Lis." Lincoln said with a gentle hand on Lisa's shoulder. "You know, someday, I just know you'll be a great scientist." Lisa blushed at his comment and chuckled nervously. "See ya."
Lincoln left the fallout shelter with the new shrinking watch on and proceeded to take the Micro Ship out for its first maiden voyage. But, how was he going to use it first? There were so many things he could do now that he could become tiny at the push of a button. He could shrink and explore the world of his own backyard, or maybe go inside his house and explore the micro world with his giant family in there. Either way it was going to be a lot of fun for him. So, which one will it be?
1. Go inside the body of one of his sisters or mother.
2. Become tiny at his school.
3. Join his sisters at their events.
4. Lincoln just remembered that he was going to visit the Casagrandes with Lori.
5. Something else.
