Chapter #5Lincoln and the Ladies! by: G-Breaker Lincoln was still sitting in the kitchen, as Lori commanded him. He didn't have to wait much longer as Lori finally came down wearing her usual clothes. She stared at Lincoln angrily and Lincoln broke out in a nervous sweat, but after clearing her head, she took a deep breath and tried to smooth things out with him.
Lori got in front of Lincoln as he stood up. "Now Lincoln, you know the terms of our deal, right?" Lori asked and Lincoln silently nodded. "Good. Now listen up, I might've been a little bit too harsh earlier so I'll make it easy for you." Lincoln felt a little bit less nervous after hearing that.
"Like I told you before, when my friends get here, you will serve us and do anything we tell you to do, okay?" Lincoln nodded. "When someone asks for something, you will get it for them." Lincoln nodded once more and just kept nodding 'yes' to everything Lori instructed him to do. "You will behave yourself, and you will be polite to my friends. And if you do a good job, I'll agree to let you off the hook."
"Really, Lori?" Lincoln asked, feeling a slight amount of hope returning.
"Yes, Lincoln. As long as you make sure you keep our end of the bargain." Lori clarified. "Okay, I promise I will do everything you and your friends say."
Lori smiled and patted her brother on the head. "That's more like it, Lincoln." She acted nice at first, until she grabbed his shoulder and kneeled down to be at eye-level with him, with her angrily serious face returning. "And I mean it about before, twerp. You do anything to embarrass me, and you're gonna get it." Lori threatened again. Lincoln just complied to avoid anymore trouble from her.
"Now, stay in here until I tell you to come out." Lori ordered. She then brought the trays with all of her snacks and drinks from the kitchen into the living room, while noticing that Lincoln definitely didn't take anything from her snack bowls, much to her satisfaction. She then brought her CDs, movies and magazines into the living room as well and waited for her guests to arrive.
After a few more minutes, Lori heard a knock on the door and went to answer it. To her joy, it was her three friends from school, Becky, Dana, and Carol Pingrey. "Hey Lori!" They all shouted in unison. Lori squealed with joy at the very sight of them as did her friends. And they all wrapped up their greeting with a group hug.
"Hey girls, come on in." Lori welcomed them all into her house and they set their things next to the couch. "So glad you guys could come for a visit. Make yourselves at home." Lori said.
"Thanks for inviting us, Lori." Carol replied. "We've really been looking forward to this. I brought some of my favorite romantic comedies with me." Carol brought out her movies and Lori was ecstatic to see them.
"OMG, Carol!" Lori exclaimed. "These literally look amazing!"
"Yeah. And I brought my makeup kit so we can all look fabulous!" Dana said. "Great, Dana!" Lori replied.
"What about you, Becky, did you bring something fun to liven things up around here?" Lori asked her red-headed friend.
"Well, I did bring a little something, Lori." Becky nervously answered. "But, I didn't think you'd like it that much."
"Oh. Well that's okay, Becky." Lori accepted her response and simply brushed it off. "Now then girls, if you will settle in, I have someone else here for you to see." Lori said, much to their confusion. "Okay, you can come out now, Lincoln!" Lori called and Lincoln stepped out of the kitchen to greet her friends. "You all know my little brother, Lincoln." Lori patted his shoulder, gesturing him to greet them.
"Um, hi girls. Great to see all of you." Lincoln nervously greeted and each of them gave him a friendly smile, especially Becky.
"Lincoln has agreed to serve us during our little get-together. If you guys need anything, he'll be happy to get it for you." Lori explained. "Isn't that right, Lincoln?" Lori sternly asked, signaling him to say yes.
"Yes, absolutely. I'll be here if you girls need me to get you more snacks or anything." Lincoln hesitantly answered, much to the girls' combined joy.
"Oh, that's so nice of you!" Carol said as she gave him a tender pat on his cheek. "What a sweet little guy you are, Lincoln."
"Yeah. We don't mind having you around." Dana agreed as she kneeled down next to Lincoln and wrapped her arm around his shoulder. "Besides, I think this party would be even more fun with a little cutie to pal around with." She then gave Lincoln a gentle hug, much to his comfort.
"Okay, girls. That's enough." Lori said. "Now then, everyone grab a seat and we can get started." Lori's friends complied and sat on the couch before she turned to Lincoln and then told him to wait in the kitchen until she called for him again. Lincoln complied and Lori joined her friends on the couch.
"You know, Lori, why don't you have Lincoln join us?" Becky suggested, much to Lori's surprise. "Yeah. He could enjoy the movie with us."
"I don't think so, Becky. He'd probably just ruin our party." Lori said. But Becky didn't like how she referred to him like that.
As Carol sat with everyone eating some of their snacks before the movie started, she realized she finished her drink and needed a refill. "Oh Lincoln!" Carol called and Lincoln immediately came to her side.
"Yes Carol?" Lincoln responded.
"Could you be a sweetheart and get me some more lemonade, please?" Carol politely asked, handing him her cup.
"You got it." Lincoln went to the kitchen and brought back another full glass of lemonade for Carol, with an extra lemon wedge as well.
"Thank you, Linky. You're such a sweetie!" Carol gave Lincoln another friendly pat on his cheek, followed by a playful nuzzle. Lori was a little bit surprised by how her friends were treating Lincoln and thought he was getting their attention on purpose.
While they were sitting, Dana was on the single chair reading one of the fashion magazines. But then, she had trouble getting comfortable and felt sore in her back. "Lincoln!" She called for him and the white-haired boy quickly rushed to her.
"Yes Dana, you need something?"
"Yeah, I'm a little sore in this chair. Could you please give me a back rub?" She kindly asked.
Lincoln looked at Lori for a second and she nodded at him to do it, so he complied. "Sure, no problem." Lincoln began rubbing and massaging Dana's back as best as he could. Once he was done, she stretched and felt satisfied with his work.
"Thank you very much, Lincoln. I think someone's earned a tip." Dana cooed.
"Oh, that's okay, Dana. You don't have to-" Lincoln thought Dana meant money, until she cut him off with a hand on his shoulder.
"I insist, cutie!" To his surprise, Dana planted a kiss on his cheek, making him blush in embarrassment. The other girls were just as surprised, especially Lori. He then went back to the kitchen waiting for his next order. Lincoln didn't know teenage girls could be so friendly with him. It almost made him feel kind of uncomfortable inside.
He didn't expect any of them to actually do that with him and it was beginning to make him feel really nervous. He just hoped that he could still keep his composure and not embarrass Lori in the process. Lincoln tried to calm down by grabbing a drink from the fridge. However, the drink that he got was actually one of Lisa's experimental potions.
