This choice: Becky comes back to get Ricky. • Go Back...Chapter #5Ricky at the Mercy of his BIG Sister! by: G-Breaker After sadistically destroying an entire ant colony, the wild, blonde-haired fireball of Cesar Chavez Academy was exiting the park, relishing in the fact that her little brother was proudly following her example.
"Heh heh! I can't believe those two would rather study bugs than crush them!" Becky scoffed. "Ronnie Anne and Sid, what a bunch of chumps. Am I right, Ricky?"
Becky was about to leave the park when she suddenly stopped in her tracks, confused to hear no response from her younger brother. "Ricky?"
She turned around and grew even more surprised to see absolutely no trace of him behind her. "Ricky? Hey, where'd he go?! He was right behind me a second ago."
Becky turned her head and looked in every direction of the park, seeing no trace of Ricky anywhere. With Ricky nowhere in sight, Becky's first assumption was that he was hiding somewhere, and she wasn't very amused by that.
"Come on, Ricky. I'm not in the mood for hide and seek. Come out! We're gonna be late to watch wrestling!" she called, growing more annoyed when he refused to make his presence known.
"Maybe he found some more bugs to squash?" Becky assumed. "I guess I can go look for him."
That being said, Becky retraced her steps back into the park to find where her brother disappeared to. But unbeknownst to the free-spirited, blonde girl, Ricky's current situation was a lot more serious than she thought.
Reduced to the size of the puny creatures that he loved to torment so much, Ricky was wandering through the tall grass forest of the city park, fearing for his life now that everything towered miles above him. The shrunken boy scoured aimlessly through the grass petrified by the humongous plants, rocks, and minuscule creatures that now had the power to torture him if they wanted to. Ricky stood in the center of the grass trying desperately to come up with a plan to survive his current predicament.
"Oh man! I can't believe this is happening to me!" Ricky exclaimed fearfully. "How could I have shrunken like this?! It's crazy! What am I going to do?!"
In the middle of his rant, Ricky suddenly heard a rustling in the grass that startled him. "What was that?!" Ricky flinched.
He began to sweat as he waited trepidaciously for whatever was making that noise to come out. "Hello? Who's there?!"
Before he knew it, Ricky got his answer once it emerged from the tall grass. To his horror, a gigantic red ant stepped out of the brushes, filling Ricky with terror as the very creature that he previously towered over and persecuted was now dwarfing him in size.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" He exclaimed in shocked disbelief.
The tables turned as the ant's antennae twitched, signaling it to Ricky's presence as it turned its head toward the tiny boy in front of it. From his new perspective, Ricky felt like a puny toy compared to the ant. It looked like it was big enough for him to climb on its back and ride it like a horse, not that he had any intention of doing such a thing.
"Oh boy." Ricky panicked, backing away as the giant ant slowly approached him. "Nice ant... Just move along now, please... Go on, shoo shoo!" Ricky desperately tried to tell the ant to get away from him, but it just kept coming.
"Bad ant! Don't come any closer! No, no! BAD ANT!" Ricky shouted. "Leave me alone! I'm not edible! Stay away! STAY! STAY BACK! AHHHH!"
At that moment, Ricky ran away from the towering insect and trotted through the tall grass until he tripped and fell face-first into the dirt. "Ugh, this is not fun," he groaned.
Ricky quickly picked himself out of the dirt and wiped it off thinking he was in the clear now that he was far away from the ant. "Well, at least it can't get any worse."
Unfortunately, Ricky made a big mistake by saying that once he heard the grass rustling again. Looking around, the tiny boy saw even more ants emerging from the grass, both red and black ants, along with a few other kinds of insects as well.
"Why did I have to say that?" He said with regret.
Poor Ricky was surrounded with no way to get away from these gigantic bugs. Everywhere he looked, his exits were blocked off by ants and a few bulky bugs with pincers ready to devour him like the insignificant prey that he had been reduced to.
"No! NO! SOMEONE HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO BE BUG FOOD!" Ricky screamed. He feared for his life as the bugs came closer to him. He quivered thinking this was going to be it for him until--
*STOMP!*
Before he knew it, the bugs immediately stopped in their tracks as the ground suddenly shook. Ricky felt it as well and fell on his back, watching the predatory insects quiver as their antennae twitched like crazy.
"Whoa! What's going on, an earthquake?!" Ricky said as the shaking continued.
*STOMP!* *STOMP!* *STOMP!*
With each second, the tremors grew stronger and the bugs instantly fled from Ricky's sight with the shrunken boy wrongly assuming he scared them off. "Yeah, that's right! You guys had better run!" Ricky said prematurely.
But his false confidence faded as the shaking got worse. Ricky was too scared to move until he heard a very loud voice blaring in the distance.
"RICKY! WHERE ARE YOU, LITTLE BRO?!"
The moment he heard that voice, Ricky was filled with even more terror as he instantly recognized it. "Oh no. If that's who I think it is...!" Ricky panicked.
He gazed above the grass trees and trembled with fear as a towering figure more gigantic and intimidating than all of the bugs he has seen stepped into the light. Casting its massive shadow over him, Ricky's jaw dropped as the approaching giant was none other than his big sister, Becky.
"OH, RICKY! BIG SIS IS HERE! Becky yelled, making Ricky cover his ears from her booming voice.
"IT'S BIG BECKY!" Ricky shrieked.
Ricky was utterly speechless as his older sister stomped toward him, shaking his entire world with the crushing force of her massive footsteps. Becky eventually stopped in place, allowing Ricky to look at her in a completely different light. To his horror, Becky was as big as a skyscraper to him now. He couldn't begin to fathom how huge and terrifying she looked now that he was nothing but a bug compared to her.
"Where is that boy? Come on, Ricky! It's time to go home! Becky said as she turned her head back and forth, completely unaware that her little brother was right at her feet.
"This is bad. I've gotta get Becky's attention before another bug shows up." Ricky ran towards Becky's colossal feet and stopped in front of her white shoes trying to get her attention.
"HEY! BECKY! DOWN HERE! I'M DOWN HERE, SIS! LOOK!" Ricky jumped up and down shouting as loud as he could, but it was all in vain since his voice was too small for Becky to hear him.
"BECKY! BECKY! HELP ME! LOOK OVER HERE!" He kept shouting to his enormous sister until she turned her head forward and spotted something on the ground at her feet.
"Huh? What's that?" Becky asked.
"YES, BECKY! RIGHT HERE! LOOK!" Ricky smiled thinking Becky saw him and was about to help him. Unfortunately, his hope faded once he saw Becky grinning sadistically at what she could only make out as a tiny speck at her feet.
"Oh look. Another puny bug to squash." Becky chuckled evilly. "Well then, here it comes you puny pest!"
To Ricky's horror, Becky didn't recognize him and saw him as another insect that she could crush. He gasped in shock as she raised her massive foot over him and prepared to squash him as she would any other bug, just like what she taught him to do.
"BECKY! NOOOOO!!! IT'S ME, RICKY! DON'T SQUASH ME!" Ricky screamed, waving his arms and standing in place as the shadow of Becky's enormous shoe cast itself over him.
"NO BECKY! DON'T! AHHHH!" At that moment, Ricky gave up and immediately ran away before his titanic sister could crush him into oblivion.
*STOMP!*
Becky stomped on the ground so hard the impact sent Ricky flying far away from her massive shoe. Once Ricky stood up, he watched Becky lift her foot out of the mud, leaving an enormous crater shaped like her shoe in the dirt with everything under it flattened into a pancake.
The color drained from Ricky's face as he saw the cruel grin on his gigantic sister's face, the same one she wears anytime she crushes insects underneath her feet. And now, he was the bug that his loving sister wanted to squash. The very thought that his sister wanted to kill him for being so small and insignificant compared to her filled him with despair as Sid's words finally set in.
"So this is what it's like to be a bug." Ricky lamented. "I'll never squash a bug again."
"THERE YOU ARE, BUG! YOU WON'T GET AWAY FROM ME THIS TIME! Becky lifted her foot over Ricky again and he wasted no time as he ran away from her.
*STOMP!*
"THAT'S IT, LITTLE BUG! RUN! IT'S MORE FUN TO HUNT YOU DOWN AND CHASE YOU BEFORE I END YOU! Becky said, laughing maniacally.
Ricky ran for his life through the grass forest with his murderous titan of a sister in hot pursuit. He didn't stop for a second as Becky chased him through the grass, narrowly dodging one crushing stomp after another. He was on the verge of running out of energy as Becky's footfalls came closer and closer to crushing him. It was then that Ricky's final moments came and if something didn't happen to save him, that was it for him. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
