One day she decided she would “spice things up” in school- her art class specifically. In art class, the teacher, Ms. Farrell, would always take her flip flops off during a project. Everyone else would take their shoes off too, especially when the floor was covered in that paper to keep paint from staining the floor. So Ellie hatched a plan, which she thought would be completely flawless.
The next art class, Ellie waited for Ms. Farrell to take her flip flops off, which wasn’t really long. Then, she grabbed the latex glue off the shelf and slathered it all over her teacher’s flip flops, so when she put them back on, they would get stuck. Unfortunately, Ellie’s rival, Paige, saw what she was doing and decided to get a second glue jar and slather it all over the insides of Ellie’s shoes too.
Then, sure enough, Ms. Farrell put her flip flops back on, only this time with a sticky squish! She was really caught by surprise and then tried desperately to pull them off but her soles wouldn’t stretch off more than a few inches.
