Rocket had sent out the offer to sell Spider-Man a few hours ago when he finally got a reply, but the destination that it came from wasn’t very surprising. The Guardians spent a lot of time on the decapitated head of a celestial for many reasons, so it was very familiar territory. This of course also meant that the buyer had a few less moral scruples than one might expect.
“Holy shit!” Rocket muttered as he looked over the offer for Peter, he isn’t sure he’s ever seen so many zeros in a row before.
“Is it a good offer?” the green form of Gamora asked as she strolled into the room.
“Yeah, take a look,” Rocket states as he points to the screen.
“Holy crap!” Gamora states as she looks at the number of credits being offered. “This is a serious offer?”
“It looks like it,” Rocket answers. “And we’ll be heading to Knowhere so it’s familiar territory.”
“Put in the coordinates, I’ll tell Quill where we’re going,” Gamora states as she walked away. The Guardians arrived at Knowhere a few hours later, the giant head floating through space with little care.
Peter Parker could only stare at the crowds that walked past him. He had never seen so many aliens before, nor all the varieties he saw now. He had no idea where he was, but it was clear he was nowhere near home.
Who is Peter being sold to?
The Collector: a very strange being on Knowhere, the Collector does just as he claims, collect things of interest. A tiny hero of Earth has both a unique value and will be much easier to keep in his collection, so he must have Peter as front and center of his primary store. It looks like Peter will be trapped forever unless someone who comes along decides to take him, but there’s no telling who it will be.
Ronan: The Kree Warlord is interested in the shrunken hero for a variety of reasons. The first is the information on Earth he possesses and on his world’s heroes. The other is he believes the hero could be a good gift to his wife, the Inhuman Princess Crystal. Possibly even helping spice up their current love life using his small sizes.
The Ravagers: The group of bandits and mercenaries know how valuable an earthling can be after their experience with Peter, though they’re shocked by his small size. However, it isn’t a deal breaker, as the shrunken, teenage hero could be a useful asset for their jobs. Will Peter be able to hold his morals, or will he break a few rules to survive and find a way home?
The Skrull: A member of the Skrull buys Peter and takes the shrunken hero back to their hideout. There are many factions of Skrull, but there is no way of knowing how he’ll be treated before he arrives. What awaits him?
