For someone your size there was hardly any pet as bad as a cat, a relatively small, highly agile and capable top predator. And here you were, one inch tall, standing in the middle of the soft and big blanket of your bed, hearing the oh so familiar, curious meow of your cat as it was just entering the room.
Small as you were, panicked as you already were, the cat approaching brought you in even more a panic. There was nowhere to hide, you were too small to do anything, yet easily snack sized for a cat. The only soothing thoughts now coming up, perhaps your cat would recognize you? Be nice to you? Wouldn't treat you like it does bugs and snacks?
With a whoosh and giant shadow, the cat jumped onto the bed, making the mattress bend, throwing you around at reaction to its weight shifting the ground a bit. No doubt it was looking for you, that or a toy...
You found yourself coming to a halt right under its soft furred belly, four legs standing in each direction as the cat was looking around the bed. There was no direction you could go to, no spot you could try hiding even if getting away from under the cat.
Too scared to move, you freeze, possibly the best course of action anyway to not be noticed. No telling what the cat may do to you if it notices you.
All you can do is wait and hope, the cat looking around the place, turning its head around, moving its legs. You might risk being stepped on or more unnoticed down here, but that was a risk you had to also take...
