Today the auction house was filled to capacity with every sort of buyer corporate businesses, real-estate developers, private buyers, ect. That was because today had a very special item being sold. The buying and selling of planets was common place in the galactic empire but planet 563 of galaxy 12 was special. You see whenever a planet was found able to support life the empire protected the planet till it could be determined if it would evolve enough to achieve space travel. During the protection period the planet would be allowed to develop as long as they countiued to evolve within the scheduled time frame.
After years of barely passing the bar planet 563 known locally as earth finally fell below the standards of a developing planet making it finally classified strictly as property. On top of that earthlings were merely an eighth the size of most galactic species making them a fairly harmless race to own.
Nothing was more prestigious then owning a life supported planet let allow one with a population of semi intelligent occupants which is why this auction drew so much attention.
The major buyers who were expected to win were:
The Lo-kuf company who would make the planet a vacation spot for species averaging 100 feet tall.
The Me-gon a teen daughter of a business typhoon. She would make the planet her personal playground.
The Glago was a race who had a habit of going planet to planet using up it's resources quickly to gain profits before leaving the planet unlivable.
