Silver smiled as he felt the warmth of the sun flowing down on him.
He found that he quite like the present. Well, to him it was the past, but he called it the present in respect for his friends that lived in this current period of time.
It was unlike the world he grew up in.
Life flourished here. The landscapes that were submerged in lava before he was born were fast fields of green. Countless species that were snuffed out when Iblis was released were extant. People didn't have to fight and struggle just to find something that was edible, didn't have to constantly remain vigilant in case some horrific monster would attack them.
And with Solaris - and thus Iblis - gone for good, he knows for certain that his present, the future of his friends, would be like this. But the future, as he came to call it, would take time to fully heal, but the survivors of the apocalypse were a strong bunch. They would be able to restore the world without him. That, and the fact that all his friends were in this point of time, was the reason why he was recently spending more and more time here.
He was in Green Hill Zone, admiring the vast expanse of water before him when he felt an unusual presence behind him.
"Who's there?!" Silver's body glowed as he activated his psychokinesis, but there was nothing there when he looked behind himself. And yet his body continued to glow with an azure sheen as psychic power continued to flow around. Because, somehow, he knew that the mysterious presence was still around him. "Show yourself. I won't hurt you if you won't hurt me."
Perhaps he shouldn't have said that, because the mysterious presence surrounded him from all sides, and grew thicker and thicker.
Silver didn't know what to do. He was prepared to push the presence back with his psychic powers before he found himself collapsing. Silver spasmed on the ground at first, feeling extreme pain all over. However, the pain began to numb and the presence was gone.
Silver opened his eyes, gasping with deep breaths.
He felt... powerful! Like some godlike power was flowing through his veins.
No. It wasn't like that - it was that, exactly! He didn't know how, but somehow he knew that the power of Solaris managed to persist even after the god was retroactively erased, and that the nigh-omnipotent power brought itself back and ended up choosing him.
He felt the same, mostly. In fact, even though so much power was within him, he wasn't able to use almost any of it. For now, at least.
Silver looked at his reflection in the water. At first, everything was the same, but as he looked more carefully at the rippling reflection, he noticed that muscle was becoming apparent on his otherwise lanky frame.
He could see a six pack beginning to form on his otherwise flat stomach, biceps and triceps slowly growing on his once thin arms, his legs following suit with their quadriceps and the other muscles found in them, a pair of pecs beginning to appear on his once unimpressive chest. Silver turned around and saw the reflection of his back in the water, growing thicker and broader along with his shoulders. Even his ass was growing - a pair of taut buttocks forming.
The rate of his newfound growth was slow, but it was constant. Furthermore, it appeared that his newly acquired power was steadily rising as well.
Yeah, it didn't take a genius to know that what was happening to his body was a result of him suddenly gaining Solaris' power.
Silver couldn't help but blush as he looked at the Adonis that he was becoming and ended up feeling himself up, grasping and groping at every muscle, feeling them grow slightly.
However the most noticeable part of him that was growing was his genitals, growing thicker and fuller with each second.
Silver's blush intensified. Surely no one would blame him if he took some time to test out his new equipment, right?
He reached down to his manhood, half hard but already looking bigger, longer and thicker than what most men would hope to have, when all of a sudden...
