This choice: Quickly turns to Hope and slams you down on her body • Go Back... "OW, god!" Hope exclaims as her knees buckle involuntarily under the force of Vivienne slamming your head onto her shoulders.
For your part, the same itch that you felt when your head was detached returns at the base of your neck, only for some reason it feels much worse, like someone's tracing an electric razor around the base of your neck. As it progresses along the line, you feel more and more sensations coming from Hope's body, and before more than a second has passed, you're lifting her hand up to touch your neck, feeling it through her fingers. You're also very aware of the differences between Hope's body and your own.
"Oh, what the hell, Vivienne!" you yell.
"Oh, you two look adorable," she replies, clasping her hands together.
"Give me back my body!" you insist.
Vivienne's face turns red. "Ah, about that...you see, I would, honest, but I kinda...gave you the last of that potion."
"You WHAT?!" your voice rings out at the same time as Hope's as you ball your shared fists.
"Ah, wait, wait!" Vivienne says, holding up her hands defensively. "Listen, I haven't been able to leave this forest in I-forget-how-long, I promise you I can find everything I need to brew more here in the forest, and it'll be done by tomorrow! The day after if it goes really bad!"
"You'd damn well better!" you shout, and storm out of the cabin, forcing your way through the brush, cursing as said brush snags against your shirt, pants, and exposed arms and legs.
"Um, Tim?" says Hope as you push through.
"What?" you ask with an irritated sigh, trying to keep your temper. This isn't her fault, after all.
"This might not be the best time to say this, but...I can't really...control my body."
You stop in your tracks and look over at her. The two of you are...really uncomfortably close at the moment. "...You what?"
"I can't control my body," she repeats. "I-I mean, I can feel everything you're doing, but it's like I'm a marionette or something, I've been trying to stop you since it looked like you were gonna punch that witch."
"...Your parents aren't home, right?"
"Tim!"
Your face goes fiercely red. "No, no, that's not what I meant! I mean, mine are, so if we go there, they'll see us!"
"...Oh," says Hope, turning just as red as you. "Um, yeah, no, they're not home right now. My place would be a better hideout."
Fortunately, you've been at Hope's house a solid few times, so you know the way. Everyone who sees you stares, but they're all either too stunned or too polite to actually say anything, and it's a huge relief when you finally get inside.
"Whew," you release a breath, rubbing your forehead with your arm...or rather, your borrowed arm. Hopefully borrowed. "So, now what? We can't exactly go back out again like this. We're pretty much stuck here until tomorrow. Can you move now?"
"Mm-mm," replies Hope, shaking her head. "It's all you."
"Hm...I wonder if I can force it. Or, maybe we can share? Weird that it's me that's in control, not you."
"Yeah, it is," says Hope. "It's...unsettling."
"You're not really reacting to it, though."
"Because I can't move! Look, I know it's only for a day or two, but I just...this is so weird..."
"...Alright, let me try something."
*****
You try several things to try and give some control over Hope's body back to her. Loosening your focus seems like the obvious one, but it has no effect. You try poking her in the nose. She bites your finger, notably hurting you both. This goes on for about half an hour before Hope just sighs and says, "Never mind, alright? It's not gonna work. I'm just along for the ride until we go back tomorrow."
You'd like to tell her not to give up, that there must be something you're both missing, but unfortunately, you have no idea what else you could do. You cross your arms, drawing your attention for the first real time to your bust. You rock up, onto the balls of your feet, then back down. They bounce. You can feel your face heating up.
"T...Tim..." says Hope, a worried tone in her voice, but the sensations her body is giving you have you in a rather playful mood.
"You can't stop me, can you?" you say teasingly.
"I told you I can't, all I can move is my--Haah!" Hope is cut off as you squeeze one of your breasts. You have to stop yourself from making a similar noise. "Tim, this isn't cool! We're not even--Mm!"
This time, it's you that silences her, as you turn towards her and press your lips against hers, wrapping your arms, her arms, around her head and stopping her from recoiling - though after a moment, she stops trying to recoil. A few seconds later, you're the one to pull back. "We're not dating, is that the problem?"
"I, um, yes!" Hope stutters.
"So if I asked you out and you said yes, there wouldn't be a problem, would there?"
"Tim, I don't really think you're all that interested in meeeEEEEEE!" Hope squeals as you reach down to the hem of her shirt and start tracing circles along her skin.
"Hey, not to be cocky or anything, but I've seen you look at me. And I'm gonna be honest, I'd go for you."
"D-don't mess with me, Tim!" Hope says. "Why did it take something like this to make you--"
"Because in case you haven't noticed, I'm not really the most confident type, usually," you interrupt. "But I'm in a bit of a different position now."
"Oh, god, Tim, you wouldn't--!"
"No, I wouldn't," you say. "Not without your permission anyway. So, lemme ask again. If I asked you out, would you say yes?"
"I, um...o-okay, fine, I would!" Hope finally admits.
"Good. Then there's no problem."
*****
The two of you wake up the following morning in Hope's bed. Or, technically, you wake up first and poke Hope in the cheek. "Well? You ready?"
"Yeah," says Hope. "Last night was fun...in a weird sort of way. But I'm definitely looking forward to being in control again."
"Agreed. I won't have to get as clever when we're two different people again."
Hope sticks out her tongue, nearly licking your cheek by accident, and the two of you get up. You both decide that with two heads, changing your shirt is a bit too much trouble, and you convince her the best way to deal with that is to just hurry out to Vivienne's cabin. More accurately, you say it out loud and Hope still can't force you to stop. Still, the two of you continue to talk as you push your way into the woods and back to the cabin, where you find... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
