Ich fuhr weiter, zwischen Autos und Lastwagen hindurch. Ich musste unweigerlich an Vanessa und Nika denken.

Die mit Tiberium infiziert und gestorben waren. Ich dachte: gut, Vanessa hat sich bereitwillig geopfert, aber Nika...

Ich folgte der Autobahn bis nach Tschechien. Die Gedanken an die anderen ließen sich kaum abschütteln.

Ich fuhr ohne Zwischenfälle bis nach Prag weiter.
