Fifth year ended a bit differently than in the books. Professor Dumbledore got injured during the battle in the Ministry so he was recovering at St. Mungo's, unable to take on the position of Headmaster, Dolores Umbridge remained Headmistress of Hogwarts. First semester of sixth year went on the same, only without the private lessons between Dumbledore and Harry. Dolores retreated a bit to the background, watching the Mudblood, Potter and Weasley fighting.
The children at welcoming feast in January was rumbling around Dolores, she was fumbling with her new ring.
It was truly a beautiful made jewelry, it's function was even more wonderful. That idiot Borgin hadn't have its counterpart in stock, but she knew the ring would come in handy in the future.
When all the students entered the Great Hall, her ring got warmer. It was probably too good to be true that a Mudblood got hold of the counter piece. But she didn't think a Pureblood would be as idiotic to wear a slave collar without knowing who was wearing the Master Ring.
Dolores would find out sooner or later who was wearing it. Her search for a good slave was as relentless as it was frustrating so this little piece of jewelry gave her hope that she would own one very soon.
Just the mere thought of what she would do to her future slave makes her cunt drip relentlessly with desire and want.

The third Friday of January Dolores finally found her slave, and she couldn't be happier with the identity of her slave.
She overheard the Gryffindors talking about the Mudblood's present from Potter, a beautiful necklace he bought in the Muggle world. First she thought nothing of it, until the Mudblood showed her year mates the necklace.
Dolores' eyes bulged almost out of her head when she recognized the stone. The stone was identical to her ring, and she now recognized the feeling of the Mudblood's magical aura.
Giving the bushy know-it-all detention wasn't hard. Next Friday after dinner Dolores would have her slave. She was contemplating though whether to ease the girl into being her slave or just straight out condemn her to her new status in life with every disgusting fantasy Dolores has.
