Clara Oswald could not believe what had just happened. The TARDIS had already made it clear it did not like her and once the Doctor left her taking care of it it trolled her endlessly. But this was too far.
The Doctor had left her in charge of the TARDIS for a few days again. Luckily she had a room inside, so she could stay within the TARDIS all the time that the Doctor was gone. Or at least that was the plan.
It was only the second day when everything went to hell. Clara had started off with a healthy breakfast, and was ready to take a shower. She was still wearing the pajamas. However, she was startled when she heard the TARDIS' engines, and the characteristic sound of take-off. She got worried, as the Doctor was not there, and he was the only one she knew could fly it. Because of this, she rushed to the console room.
When she arrived, she was surprised by the fact no one was there. Just as she arrived, the TARDIS landed wherever it was headed to. Clara spent some while checking every nook and cranny of the room, to make sure there was no one with her inside. As she was looking around, she received another surprise, as the TARDIS console room began to dematerialize around her. It was taking off without her!
When the TARDIS fully dematerialized, she found herself in some dark alley in the middle of the night.
"The fucker!", she mutters as she realizes the TARDIS just dumped her there and left. However, she soon realizes she has more pressing issues. She immediately felt a harsh cold, and as she looks down, she gasped. The TARDIS not only abandoned her in an unknown city and time zone, but it also somehow took her clothes, leaving her stark naked in the middle of the city. She frantically looked around and clamped her arms over her modest chest and womanhood, worried, but thankfully saw no one. She recognized a few objects in the alleyway, such as a large green dumpster she promptly hid behind.
“Now to think up something to do”, she muses to herself after minutes of hiding.
'At least no one can see me' She thinks. This barely helps calm her down though. She left her phone inside the time machine so she couldn't call for help. She had no real idea what to do other than hide for a few days until the Doctor inevitably found her again. She decided to look around, hoping this on Earth and not just a similar planet. At least it has air, right? She just had breakfast, but she will need food sooner or later. Maybe she could also figure out where she actually is. Peeking around, she finds a familiar sight: An empty street reminiscent of those back home, pavement and all. Looks like her naked body won’t be exposed... yet at least. Spotting a café with the lights still on, she sighs in relief when the name above the door is in English. Looked like she was on earth after all, and that made things infinitely better.
She sprinted across the street and dove behind a shrubbery in front of the cozy restaurant, not wanting to stay in the open any longer than she had to. The Café was across the street from a small house, and while this wouldn't normally be something Clara would care about, the house had a clothesline out back with clothes hanging out. Once again Clara dashed across the road and quickly hopped the fence. She only had to debate a little before deciding that, while stealing was never something she wanted to do, she needed the clothes more than whoever owned them.
After a bit of looking, she found an old black skirt with a mall tear at the back, a sheer white tank-top, and unfortunately no underwear. Not really her style, and a bit small for her, but it’s the best she can find, and it will do for now. She quickly pulled the skirt on, feeling much better with some cover but still painfully aware that she had nothing on underneath. Followed by the shirt that didn't do much to hide the outline of her contrasting dark nipples. This done, she walked to the restaurant, blushing but not wanting to seem nervous. She was wondering how she might pay for any food she ordered when, amazingly, she found a wallet forgotten on the ground with enough money for a bit of food. Better to buy it now, when the café was almost empty. She wouldn’t want to be seen in broad daylight like this.
Walking across the street, she enters the restaurant. It is small, and the only person in there was a rather fat and sleepy, but ultimately kindly looking man behind the counter. She waved to him as she found a seat in a booth far away, which he happily returned.
