As you watch them enter your home, graciously closing the door behind them, you remember a story a demoness told you. She said that a group mortals came into her home with tools meant to force supernatural powers to "be laid to rest", which actually meant that she had to fake leaving her summer home in Brazil for a month. She did say some of their equipment was legitimate, though. And you did feel something odd when they placed that vial's contents on your doorknob.
Great, they're ghost hunters. Wonderful, you think to yourself. They don't seem to be experienced, but judging by the giant bag of equipment they each had, they're not rookies.
They both seem to be around 25 years old. The man is wearing a simple red long-sleeved button-up shirt, a well worn pair of jeans, and grey sneakers. He was a clean shaven blonde, with short, unkempt hair. The woman, also wearing jeans and sneakers, wore a leather biker jacket. Her black hair, currently head in a ponytail, could easily go to her lower back.
"Hello, is there anyone here?" The woman asked into the main foyer. She holds up a small black box, waving it around the room. It makes low beeping noises, until it points to your general vicinity, causing it to beep madly. "Jackpot. We have something here, Mike."
The man, Mike, nods. "Do you think it's a demon this time? Or just another ghost?"
Another ghost? Another ghost!? If you had blood, it would probably start to boil.
"Probably a ghost. And by the stories we've gotten from around the country, this place lines up with The Wedgie Ghost House. The one that moves around on Halloween for the past 30 years."
"What makes you think that, Jackie?"
The woman, Jackie, points to the chandelier, tastefully adorned with the underwear of previous trespassers. Mike stares, his face slightly red.
"Aw, what's wrong? Scared your undies are gonna be outies?" She slaps him on the butt, making him yelp. If they were lovers, you didn't really care.
"Uh... yeah, totally." You could tell he was lying, but not exactly sure why.
It's time to deal with these two, before they ruin your house and insult you again.
