Ruby's hear dropped watching Jaune train to the video Pyrrha made. It became to much for her as Ruby ran back to the camp ground.


Ruby: I wish I had been faster


Jinn: are you sure


Ruby: ahhh giant blue lady


Ruby jumps into a bttle position but remembers her weapon is back at the campsite.


Jinn: no reason to be afraid child. I'm here to help you.


Ruby is looking around and notices everything around them is frozen in place.


Jinn: don't worry they are fine. I just stop time when ever I'm summoned.


Ruby: who or what are you


Jinn: I'm Jinn a magical genie sent by the gods to grant your wishes Ruby Rose.


Jinn laughed to herself mentally if felt nice being able to lie. The God of light made it impossible to lie when she was the spirit of knowledge.


Ruby: genies are real? Why would the goods send me one. I'm not worthy of such a gift.



Jinn: you are worthy. More then most people in this world. I will grant you any wishes you have.



Ruby: are there any rules?


Jinn: a few but right now the one that I think will apply to you is, I can't bring people back from the dead.


Ruby gets visibly depressed but then shoots back up excited.


Ruby: can you change the events of the past?


Jinn: I can change a few things. But I wouldn't recommend it. Meddling in the past can change your present in ways you couldn't imagine.



Ruby: I still have to try. Jinn I wish I was faster that night beacon fell and saves Pyrrha and Penny.


Jinn: I can only grant half of your wish my mistress


Ruby: wait why?


Jinn: no matter what speed you had. It wouldn't have helped you save this Penny person.


Ruby: that's not fair


Jinn: I'm sorry my mistress


Ruby: wait that means I can still save Pyrrha


Jinn: if that's what you really want.


Ruby: it is.


Jinn: then make your wish


Ruby: I wish I was fast enough to save Pyrrha that night beacon fell.


Jinn: your wish is granted my mistress. I can't wait until you summon me next time.


Ruby: wait how do I summon you?


Jinn: I will know when you need me and I will come to you.


Ruby: thank you


Jinn: your welcome my mistress


In a flash of light Jinn was gone. But then Ruby noticed something strange. The teen was no longer in the forest heading back to the camp ground. Ruby was now in her home back on Patch wearing her pajamas. The crimsonette stood there confused wondering what's going on until ____ bumps into them.
