This choice: Nothing particularly exciting, everyone returns to the college campus • Go Back...Chapter #7An ominous device by: Tisch   Lunch went on and finished without a hitch, every member of the family happy and content with the meal. Afterwards, Jack thanked the group for taking him out for the meal, then they all got going back to the college campus. In the car, though, Jack noticed something in Izzy's pocket. He tapped her on the shoulder and whispered to her, "Bella, what's that?". She looked down at her pocket and smirked. "Nothing you should be concerned about right now, Jack, let's talk about it more in your dorm". Her remarks made Jack nervous. Though his younger sister had matured recently, it seems that her love for messing with Jack hadn't gone as far as Jack thought. He became paranoid thinking of what the object could be.
Back on campus, Jack showed his mother and sisters around before taking them back to his dorm. Once in his dorm room, Izzy and Lucy sat down, while their mother excused herself to the bathroom. Jack pointed out that the closest bathroom was unfortunately on the floor below because the one on his floor was undergoing maintenance. Once Carey was out of the room, the girls began laughing. Jack looked over to the two. "All right, spill. I know you two are up to no good, I knew Izzy was in the car, but Lucy, you're giving off troublesome vibes too," Jack spoke. Each of the girls giggled. Lucy was the first to speak of the two. "Yeah, there's no doubt about it. We've missed you, Jack, and we've really missed messing with you. With that being said, now that Mom's gone, we have something to show you," Lucy pointed over to Izzy's pocket. Izzy slowly brought out the object that Jack had noticed, which was a phone-like device. Jack shook his head. "Oh my god, what is that?" he asked. Izzy chuckled. "It's what you were concerned about. You know how you have a shrink ray, which changes size?". Jack nodded. "Well, unlike the shrink ray, this only applies to people; however, like the shrink ray it does change people in an interesting way," Izzy explained. "And what's that, o' wise Isabella?" Jack snorted.
"It changes a person into an object, for example, a piece of food," Izzy grinned. Jack was taken aback. "What? Are you serious?". Izzy nodded and both sisters smiled. "Yeah. The most impressive thing about it is that it makes the person practically invulnerable. Say if I were to make you into a plank or something, I could break you in half, or in other ways, but you wouldn't die. Then, at my whim, I could transform you back into a person without any issue". Jack was seriously impressed. "Actually, that's really cool. How did you get it?" he asked. Both girls shook their heads. "That's a secret that Mom doesn't know about, so you can't tell her, okay?" Lucy asked. Jack shrugged and agreed to keep it a secret. "We bought it off the same provider of the shrink ray," Izzy whispered. Jack nodded in understanding.
"All right, I see. Anyways, what do you guys want to do? That is, when Mom gets back too," Jack said. The girls looked at each other and smiled deviously, then looked back to Jack. He became nervous.
