You climb down the steep walls of the massive hole. You made it towards the bottom in a mere 3 hours. The bottom of the great hole was dark and dank. You search the bottom of the hole and find deposits of fertile soil and bits of plant life.
You study the plants and they seem edible. You and your group settle down and start to make a farm. What seemed like a few days have passed and all your hard work has paid off. You have shelter, a steady supply of food and you discovered how to purify the salty water that comes from the side of the hole. The only annoyance is that the ground shakes and rumbles every now and again.
A few months have passed, the population of the grand hole has flourished. You decide to mount an expedition to find more land to settle and hopefully find other people. You say goodbye to your family and start climbing towards the surface. You make it up and start to scan the horizon. Do you go south, north, or east.
