In the Great Forest, Bambi was always the curious animal who experiences new things. But today was a new and unique day for him, as he finally realized that he got the chance to grow bigger! Wait, you don't know why Bambi will get the change to grow taller? Silly me! Guess we need a bit of a backstory.
So, the other day, Bambi was playing around with Thumper when he saw a curious sight that interested him. When he looked out to the camp, he saw an elephant, who was giving Man a ride. "Bambi, why are you watchin' elephants?" Thumper asked, as he hopped over to him. "Oh? I'm just curious!" Bambi replied. As soon as Man was gone, they continued playing until it was nearly time to return to their homes. As they watched the sunset, Bambi began to think about how big that must've been and how he will like to grow bigger.
"Hey, Thumper? Do you realize that sometimes, we just wish that we were bigger, but not older? Like, we can be taller than Man, or even a large tree?" Bambi asked his bestest buddy. "Umm, no? Why do you ask?" "Well, I think I would like to become taller than The Great Prince." This confused Thumper, and he was the one who usually gives advice that could get them into trouble!
"What do ya mean? You're fine at your regular size!" Thumper exclaimed to the young fawn. "I know, but I just wanna feel how it's like to be as big as the tallest tree, or even my forest home." Bambi explained. "Well, if that's what you want, suit yourself." Thumper said, before saying goodbye to Bambi and returning to his den, as the fawn returned to his home den.
That night, Bambi was sleeping in his den with his parent, when his ears perked up, sensing the night stars above him. He headed out his den to see some stars, and that was when he spotted a shooting star. He swiftly made his wish that he would grow bigger so that he can experience new things at bigger sizes, and as soon as the shooting star disappeared, he went back to sleep.
