Chapter #4

Two’s Company, Three’s a Crowd

“I can’t believe I had you squished against my ass without even realizing it! Sorry babe.” Olivia said sheepishly down to you.

Part of you wanted to roll your eyes and call her out on how you wished that she was more attentive when you two were together, but you knew that it would fall on deaf ears. Olivia loved you, and you loved her, but the reality was that in this relationship you would most likely be spending more time two-dimensional rather than 3D. For most tinies this would be more than enough reason to break up, but call it blind infatuation or call it stupidity, you knew that deep down it was always worth it.

“It’s all good, Liv. Next time we watch a movie in bed though, can you just make sure I stay on top of the sheets this time? Even before you squashed me, I couldn’t see an inch of the screen through the layers of blankets.” You responded in a half-serious, half-joking manner.

“Ugh” Olivia facepalmed, “That is so obvious, I promise I won’t forget that next time.” She finished with a smile.

“Sounds like a plan” you smiled back before turning to Jamie. “I have to extend my deepest thank you to you as well, Jamie. If you didn’t point me out to this giant ditz over here then who knows how long I would have been stuck there.”

Jamie breathed a sigh of relief as she wasn’t entirely sure how you were going to handle the situation. She really did not want to bear witness to a fight between you two with her naturally shy nature, so when you seemed to be taking it all rather lightheartedly, she visibly relaxed. Clearly, she could tell that you did not want to be squished by Olivia, but if you could put up with it this well then she would hopefully not need to feel as nervous about revealing you in the future.

“No problem, Andrew. Happy to help.” Was all that she said before taking another sip of her coffee. You then turned back to your girlfriend, a rather precarious maneuver considering the fact that you had been sitting in the uneven terrain of her palm for this entire conversation.

“Now you, my precious airhead” you said as Olivia feigned offense and poked her tongue out at you, “please tell me you would have remembered me at some point today! Especially considering…
