I wish I was noticeably larger then Ed was the last time I saw him! He wrote. Waiting, he tried spinning his chair around. Nothing. He angled the notebook towards himself. Still nothing.
"What's going on?" he asked himself. Maybe the journal's power was limited and it needed to recharge? Or maybe it couldn't do such a vague wish? "Or maybe I'm asking to much at once?" He mumbled.
Grabbing his pen, he wrote I wish my shirt was a size larger. Immediately, his shirt became looser on him. I wish my shirt was ten sizes bigger, he wrote. Shirt wiggled a little, tickling him, but nothing happened. The glow of the ink faded almost immediately as well, as if short circuiting. "Okay. So can't do just anything then. Fair enough. Can still do a lot to help me though." He chuckled. "Can it repeat wishes though?"
Leaning over, he opened the fridge and cleared it all out. I wish my fridge came stocked with some food. Maybe even some of my favorites.
Nothing happened for a moment until he angled the journal at the fridge. A clanking came from it and when he opened it, it was again stocked with everything that had been there before. "Small wishes and can repeat. Nice. Though it may not repeat them forever if it already has limits. Let's see what else this thing can do."
