Double checking the chalkboard lines on the floor, the positions of the candles, and the assorted relics you feel that the preparations are done. Wiping the sweat from your brow you walk over to the computer occupying half the room and see that the program was running correctly.
Tonight was the night were you would accomplish your dream of becoming a Pokemon Master. Growing up with the games, anime, mangas, and pretty much all media that included the franchise, you've become a huge Pokemon enthusiast if not a maniac. But even though you love the franchise, you could never experience what it was like to be in the Pokemon world for real. Well, at least not until now.
A month ago you had come across a magic book online. Thinking that it would make for an interesting decoration and conversation starter, you bought it immediately. Imagine your surprise when you tested it and found out that it works. It didn't take you long to think up the idea of using it to travel to the Pokemon world.
Yet, that wasn't as easy as you thought it would be. Sure magic could send you from one place to another. You already tested this and found it doable. What it couldn't do is send you to a place that didn't really exist.
Thankfully you managed to find a solution at the local university. There was a big project there that you saw on the local newspaper. A supercomputer of sorts designed to fabricate full worlds with guided A.I. generated content. They were researching self generated worlds for simulations and virtual reality. You on the other hand thought of combining that with magic to create a real world that you could walk on. Nothing virtual about it.
So with some minor spells, you easily snuck into the lab and started working. Feeding the machine knowledge from every Pokemon game, show, movie, and anything related to it you basically tasked it to recreate the Pokemon world for real.
Combining that with the biggest spell you had dared to do thus far, you are certain that this dream will become reality.
Dripping your blood onto the magic circle while chanting the words, you start to become lightheaded and dizzy. Trying to not break your concentration as the room explodes in a rainbow of colors that you were sure would attract the attention of the security personnel.
Still the odd energy traveling all across your body tells you that you succeeded before blacking out.
When you came to, you knew, you were in the Pokemon world. Though things seemed off.
Everything was way bigger than it should be. No that was not it. No it was the other way around. You were a lot smaller than normal. Below a foot in height. That wasn’t the only odd part.
Looking down at your body, you notice that you are no longer your regular self. No, you have transformed into some sort of creature, a Pokemon. A completely new species of Pokemon.
While freaking out, you try to calm down and take stock of your situation. First you got to know where in the Pokemon world you are and then what type of the you have become.
