Werewolf1 walked the streets. At the moment, there was no Scripted Missions involving him going on, and all the Brawls had Player Devourers and Saviors in them, meaning that he didn't have a task, at the time.
Werewolf1 stepped into the store run by Blue Shirt Guy and Green Shirt Lady.
"Slow day, Werewolf1?" Blue Shirt Guy asked.
Werewolf1 nodded. "Enough players of either side for teams doing Brawls, and no Scripted Missions involving me have been activated."
"That's alright," said Green Shirt Lady. "Here's some ham." She placed a ham on the counter.
"Thanks," Werewolf1 said, accepting the ham.
"So, which route do you prefer to be?" Blue Shirt Guy asked.
"Kind of depends," said Werewolf1, finishing the ham in one swallow. "Both have their fun points, but unlike a Player, I don't really get to enjoy the real perks. I'm only as strong as needed for the Job. I don't need the money. I don't get the cool gear, and when I do scarf someone down, I know very well they'll be back soon. As for Friends, Minions, Allies, Enemies, and Lovers, well, we all know it to be part of a Job, and as an NPC, it's like, what's the point? Most of us are just better off as friends, or acquaintances. Believe me, I'd like to take Lady in a Nice Dress out to dinner, but she's always spending time with the Players, in one manner or another."
"Maybe you could try acting like a Player," said Blue Shirt Guy. "Might be fun."
"Are you sure about that?" Werewolf1 asked.
"I wouldn't mind being your Snack, or Lover," said Green Shirt Lady.
"Tempting," said Werewolf1. "Might want to test that on an NPC Monster - only server though, as part of a Test, wherein the Players only get to be humans, as I don't want to upset things. Might be fun."
"Well, you enjoy the rest of your day," said Blue Shirt Guy.
"I will." Werewolf1 walked out of the store.
