Slip Out on the Walk Back

You slip out and fortunate for you land safely on a pile of grass that she was cutting across. You are afraid of bugs in the tall grass and quickly head for the pavement which will allow you to make faster progress. You quickly release you don't know where you are or where you should go. You start heading down the sidewalk hoping to see a street sign to give you an idea when you hear a noise behind you. You turn and see a girl headed down the sidewalk bearing down on you without much time to get out of her way.

You can only imagine getting stamped out of existence by her massive flip flops. Out of fear,m you yell, "Please don't step on me!" She immediately stop and look around and then down at you. She is amazed when she spots you and squats down to see you better. "Oh my God" she says. You look up at her towering over you. She is a cute blond with bright blue eyes probably in her mid-twenties, She is wearing a bathing suit with a colorful cover over it making you think she is coming or going to the beach. "What are you?" she asks out loud almost like she didn't expect a response. You respond "I need you help. I don't know what happened. I just shrank at the beach. I need to get help."

"You poor little thing" she says softly as she reaches out for you picking you up off the sidewalk. You are lying in her palm with her thumb lightly pinning you down to prevent you from falling as she stands back up. "I need to go to the hospital" you tell her as she resumes walking. "My apartment is right down the street. We can go there and sort this out." she tells you as walks to her building ignoring your pleas to go to a hospital.

She enters her apartment and you see it is a small efficiency unit with one room that has a kitchen separated by a half wall and a door in the rear that you assume is the bathroom. "I know it's not much" she tells you but I just started working and this place is right by the beach and there is a deck on the roof which I love." She takes you into the kitchen and sets you down on the table that only has room for two people. You stand up and say "Thank you for helping me but I need to get to the hospital." She sits down in front of you and says "Well I am a nurse at the hospital and I'll tell you there isn't anything they can do to help you except let some student doctors poke and prod you. You'll be much safer here." She gets a bottle of water and pours a bit in the cap setting it down for you and gives you a cracker which is far more than you could ever eat. "Now you stay here and rest up while I take a shower and change."

She goes into the bathroom leaving you on the table and you get a drink which is like drinking out of a bucket. You hear her singing in the shower and look around the table to see if there is a way to get down. The table to against a wall and on the wall is a lamp with a cord that goes down almost to the floor. You could climb down the cord to the floor and try and find another way to the hospital or do you realize she's right about the hospital and stay put until she returns. You decide to ...
