Riding the powerful force of a beast, taking the lamia who's still charging through the trees like a wild storm. You begin to worry about how much destruction she's causing, not that you have too big an issue of destruction you thought even in the idea of doing plenty yourself, but with her size she might unintentionally take everything down on her own. Paired with how her mere movements throw you in every direction you think it might be time to put a pause on her destruction. You're able to pull out the shrink potion and leak it out onto her, once the bottle opened you weren't the most easily able to pry pour it so you let the force of her motion flew out of the bottle onto her.
Taking a moment to soak in you have no idea where you even are with this ride, she just keeps charging bulldozing trees and splashing through the rivers or lakes of wherever you're being taken. Finally, you can see the scaled tail you're on sinking in, more n more it pulls in as her body's returning down. The momentum finally wearing off from the force of her travelling, you can feel your body being able to lift back off of her back from your own will. You notice she has yet to stop, but you still take your leap off of her, not wanting to wind up back in her mouth ready for another round of giant snake quite yet. You see her dwindle back down to her normal height, maybe still a little over or under that actually, but she only glances at her body and you can see a bit of a frown before she slithers into the remaining trees. You turn behind you and just see the remains of the onslaught of desecrated forest that was the snake's path. Something for someone else to worry about you think to yourself and fly off forward.
You land down on a branch and sit on it, your legs feeling like jelly having rode those slick scales coiling along through everything like multiple elephants. You catch your breath and looking around you notice yourself in a more swampy area. The trees hanging low, and plenty of water mixed in the grass and mud, and off in the distance near a mix of flowers and fungi, a lone shack. Colored black with a moss covered door. You feel there's no point in eyeing from here so you go off toward it. You hang outside for a moment, seeing the rotted wood, moss and vines growing up the walls as well. You fly around trying to see a window, but to no avail, and sit on the roof for a moment. The soaked tiling squishes as you sit down. Trying to calm yourself still from the lamia, you try not to think about the bad condition and just hope that no ones inside so you can be locked in for a moment's rest.
Outside on the roof, you're not given even that moment as your seat, the tiling, gives in underneath you. You quickly fall inward, kicking your wings into gear before you slam down into the ground, and bounce off in the air over away from the ground. catching yourself and landing on the table before you. You lay yourself down, setting the bag to your side and catch your breath rom the nonstop excitement you've been going through in this forest. Taking the time to look around, you see the insides of the shack partially match the outsides, bit of deterioration and damage, fungus growing inside on pieces of furniture and through the floor. You sit up and look over backing in shock seeing a large cauldron. You've accidentally stumbled into a witch's hut and notice the jars and vials of all the pieces of creatures on the shelves. The only thing separating your own potion making with the average witch's is that they like to grab creatures, beasts or any sort of person take forcefully what they want.
Fairy pieces not excluded. You're about to take off when you take notice of the shelf by you. A little worn above, but the thick books on it catch your eyes. "Summoning Circles" "Potion Recipes" Plenty other written books but not as much of interest, handwritten books that could bring special creatures not walking the earth to you, or maybe an ability of changing some of your potions to add extra into them. There's also the fact you need some rest, and that the owner of this shack could return.
