The Adeptus Astartes are also known as the "Angels of Death" and there are two chapters who take that name to heart.

The Blood Angels, heiresses to great angel. Their beauty is legendary, almost as much as the anger which sometimes assails them, taking from these angelic warrior-women all reason until only a beast remains.

The Dark Angels are far more stoic and secretive, a chapter of warrior-monk women who fight the foes of the Imperium while following their own, secret agendas.
