As the big table in the great hall was heaped with food Harry's eyes widened and his stomach growled. He had never seen so much food and he had never been allowed to eat as much as he did that day.
Immediately, the thin dark-haired boy began to put as much food as he could on his plate, ready to satisfy the hunger that had suddenly arisen. Some of the boys around him started talking to him, but Harry was too engrossed in his food to speak or attend to them beyond nodding at everything they said. Spaghetti, pizza, burgers, steaks, chicken, sausages... They all disappeared into the Potter's mouth.
When the meal was substituted for dessert, the boy's stomach was bloated and hard, a feeling that he had never felt before but that he honestly liked. A lot. He was undoubtedly full, but he could certainly make some room for dessert, so he filled a bowl of delicious vanilla and chocolate ice cream while, with the other hand, he stuffed his face with chocolate brownies and a gigantic chocolate milkshake.
"Wow, I've never met someone who ate as much as you did," Ron said looking at the pile of plates stacked next to Harry, "how did you have room to eat all that after the sweets on the train?"
"Honestly, I have no idea," said Harry, who was about to explode and couldn't eat anything else. After such a binge, he could barely move and Ron had to help him up when the first years were taken away. Of course, the redhead noticed that Harry had filled his pockets with waffles and biscuit pieces, although he didn't bother to say anything to his friend, who as soon as he got to the room began to eat them slowly, until he finished. all the food he had packed in his pockets and went to sleep with a smile on his face. Man, Hogwarts was truly amazing.
(A month later...)
Harry looked at himself in the mirror, unable to recognize his body. Less than a month ago, he was terribly thin, his ribs showing and shorter than most boys his year. Now, however, the body that was reflected in the mirror did not appear malnourished at all, in fact, a small belly was beginning to develop where there had previously been a slightly sunken flat stomach.
He supposed that his big meals had a lot to do with it, but the truth was, he wasn't willing to deny them and his new aesthetic didn't seem so bad to him. Since he was little he had felt out of place, he was the only thin man in his family and, in his eyes, that was why he was the weakest and so lonely and sad. But now not anymore, now he was happy, he had friends and a beautiful belly that he intended to grow.
With that thought in mind, he went down to the great hall while his companions were still asleep, ready to satisfy his hunger and fill himself until he could eat no more.
