You were once an Eevee that had a trainer, and you thought that there was something special between you two; hell, you even learned a fairy-type move to impress your trainer. It all went downhill when you evolved into a sylveon and were imminently released into the wild. You didn't know why your trainer threw you away, but you hoped to get them back one day.

A few years later, you were hunting some wild pokemon when you suddenly got sick and quit for the day. Your body was getting stronger and bigger as you slept, but you didn't notice at first.
