Nia exited her escape pod and stood up straight, scanning her immediate surroundings. She was surrounded by a snow and little vegetation. According to her calculations, Nia was thousands of kilometers in the atmosphere, on top of the mountain that resembled a woman's breast on the woman shaped planetoid. From atop it, she could see nearly the entire planet.
Nia was an android, so she had some instructions to follow. First: Check internal diagnostics. Checking...No immediate damage. Low temperature could cause internal damage. Seek warm temperature.
Second: Receive orders from captain. Error: Captain not found.
Receive orders from engineer. Error: Engineer not found.
Receive orders from security officer. Error: Security officer not found.
If no crew are available to give orders, return to ship and await orders.
Nia looked up into the sky and measured the stars, her relative position on the planet, and the position of the sun and compared them all to their relative position from when she ejected from the ship. According to her calculations, the ship would've crashed to the far north, on the hand shaped protrusion on the woman shaped planet. Obviously it wasn't a real hand, Nia's programming reminded her, because planets can't have hands. Nor can they be women.
Nia began walking down the mountain, using the stars and terrain for navigation and direction. From her calculations, the walk would take several earth days. She looked down at her body to assess if it was capable of such a demanding journey. Being a navigation ai, her body certainly wasn't built for it. Her large breasts containing processors added substantial weight to her body, the curved design on her legs were more for looks than protection, and her programmed walk cycle that made her hips sway so much from side to side would certainly add extra wear on them. All in all, she calculated a 16.098% chance of her making it in one piece, assuming she managed to get out of this cold weather and avoid any other hazards. The human crew all had increased chances of making the journey due to their adaptability and survival training; Cogs had 21%, the captain had 29.02%, and Catharina had 778.661%. That was assuming they survived the initial impact on the planet. Nia's metal body provided her with a much higher chance of surviving, but their softer organic bodies had a lower chance of surviving the impact. And with no data on what type of surface they landed on, Nia was faced with the only thing she feared: Factors she couldn't calculate.
She set aside the dreadful idea to focus on her current objective: return to the ship and await orders.
