Bio: Jurgen did a couple of Olympics as a superheavyweight weightlifter, before marriage and a lack of income had him joint the police. His girth, power, and appetite, plus his sense of humour, had all been powerful attractions for his wife... and none of them has gotten any smaller while his police career has seen him develop from traffic deputy into a Detective, then a Detective Sergeant.
One of the things Jurgen loves about detective work is that he's often in 'plain clothes' - uniforms are not his favourite thing about the police. Eating with the Sheriff and his fellow officers IS one of his favourite things, though, as is catching criminals - the more complicated and grisly the crime, the better. Nothing puts our Jurgen off his food.
The recent arrival of the first little Fleischmann may have slowed his expansion and his weightlifting a bit, but not for long....

Bio: Charles had always wanted two things out of life: to be a policeman, and to be absolutely HUGE! He'd played a little ball in high school, then joined the police soon after graduation; his football lineman's physique turned out to be ideal for intimidating motorists when he'd pulled them over, and for intimidating suspects when the detective branch needed help with questioning. Early marriage to a high school sweetheart who shared his love of cooking meant that he didn't stay on highway patrol for long... and now, far too big to fit into any of the patrol cars, he's the department's lead dispatcher!
