Fair Valley was as out of the way as it got. It has precisely 2 gas stations and a grocery store and not much else in it. Most folks worked in the next town over, which had the advantage of being along the highway and therefore had more business from people passing through it. There was next to nothing that was even remotely interesting in Fair Valley...
Which is why Grant ended up going to the house on the border of the town, the one sized for a being many times larger than humans, fairly often. When Shelby, a 100ft tall anthro sheep, moved in at first folks kept mostly clear. To be honest, the idea of someone THAT BIG suddenly being around spooked people a bit. But after a while the sheep had proven herself more than helpful. After a tornado blew through the town and had caused more than a little damage, including sending a semi trailer into the roof of the grocers, Shelby cleaned up damage that would have taken the town Months to clean up on their own in only a few hours, so...after that she was pretty much just an accepted part of the town. And, mostly out of lack of anything to do Grant began regularly coming over and hanging out with Shelby pretty commonly after that.
He just walked under the door into Shelby's home. She knew he was coming over and this was a pretty regular thing for him to do regardless. And as soon as he did, and walked into the, for the scale of the building, fairly small kitchen that the door connects to, he sees her.
Shelby, as she usually does in her own home, was wearing a very tight pair of shorts and a very small tanktop that struggled against her ample chest. The somewhat chubby, or possibly just fluffy its hard to tell when she has wool, sheep rarely wore much clothes beyond what was strictly neccesary. Her wool made her quite prone to overheating. She was listening to a radio on the counter, her hoof-like feet dancing around the room as she cooked...
