"If she won't go on the inside willingly, then we'll just have to place you in her body."
"What?!"
Jason and Harley exclaimed in unison. Jason frowned under his mask.
"How is that even possible?"
"Simple."
Batman pressed a key on his keyboard, filling Harley's cell with sleeping gas. The blonde was out cold in less than a minute.
"I have been tinkering with mind tech. If Superman became braindead then I have considered placing my mind in his body to protect the Earth in his absence. All merely hypothetical of course."
The bat was known to have contingency plans for his contingency plans. Up until then he doubted such a device would be of any use.
"Yeah, okay, but why me? The Joker is a lunatic. He pops his henchmen just for fun. How do we know he won't see through the ruse and just kill me? Again?"
"I will remain on reconnaissance watching you. I won't be far and will intervene if you are in any danger. I will never let the Joker harm you again, Jason. You have my word on that."
He lowered his cowl, looking on his adopted son with his own eyes. Harley was asleep so they didn't have to worry about exposing their identities. Jason unclasped his Red Hood mask and took it off.
"Why not you? Why don't you go into her body?"
"Someone needs to be ready to put you back into your own body if things don't go according to plan. I just need you to find out what he has been up to. Why he has been so quiet recently then I will pull you out."
Jason sighed.
"How does this thing work anyway?"
"I hook you and Harley up with a mental connection that can safely transport your consciousness into her body."
"Won't she have control of my body though...?"
"No. You will be possessing her. Your mind is stronger than hers, trust me. You will be able to easily overtake her and get what we need and get out."
"You owe me for this one, Bruce."
He sat down in the chair.
"I'll have Diana put in a good word for you with Artemis once this is all over."
"How do you know about me and—"
"Jason," Bruce stopped him.
"What is there that I don't know?"
"Fair point. Let's get this shit show on the road."

Jason shot awake, already feeling her center of gravity was higher. The muscle she spent years training was washed away in lieu of a thin waist and wide hips. Her hair was up in blonde pigtails, one with light pink highlights and the other with sky blue highlights.
"B-Bruce..?"
She squeaked, rubbing her throat. There was no Adam's apple anymore and her voice was much higher pitched. She even sported Harley's New Jersey accent.
"Glad to see you're awake 'Harley'" Batman teased.
"Shut up and open this door already!"
She frowned, placing her arms at her sides and leaning forward slightly. She didn't realize it but she was expressing her displeasure in a very effeminate manner.
"You're Jason alright..." Bruce shook his head and released the newly formed Clown Princess from her cell.
"You'll be infiltrating Ha-Ha-Hacienda. The Joker's current hideout. An old amusement park at the edge of a rotting pier."
"And by infiltrating you mean... walk right up to the front door and hope they don't kill me."
"No one is going to hurt you."
Batman locked eyes with her for a second. The piercing glare had no effect on Jason. She had seen it plenty of times. It did have an effect on Harley though and not the one she expected. A slight dampness started to form in between her legs but she opted to ignore it. Did Harley have a thing for the bat? The thought made her cringe internally.
