Selina swore, sashaying into the batcave from the mansion entrance. She was dressed in her full Catwoman outfit, whip, heels, and all. She needed to talk to him before he rushed off to rampage through the city putting bad guys in the ER. She huffed, glancing around and raising a brow when her eyes fell on Damian.
"Who are you supposed to be?"
She folded her arms under her bust. Damian struggled to stand in his new footwear, using a safety railing to prop himself up.
"I am Robin! Don't you recognize me?"
Damian growled.
Selina's face went blank for a second right before she bursted out with laughter.
"Oh my-oh my god... Damian?! Why would I recognize you you're dressed like me!"
She grabbed her sides, having a good bit of fun at the boy wonder's expense.
"Shut up! Help me get this thing off before anyone else sees!"
"You... you even sound like a little girl..."
"The machine didn't alter my voice! Did it...?"
"You know what? This is a good thing..."
"How is this a good thing?"
"Hang on..."
Selina sauntered over to Batman's wall of gadgets and plucked one small rectangular device that fit in the palm of her slender hand. She took off her choker with a heart hanging off of it and spoke into the voice synthesizer. "Hi, I'm Selina." She then attached the synthesizer to the choker and slapped it onto Damian, locking it into place.
"Hey!"
Damian covered his voice, frowning in horror. He sounded just like Selina.
"What did you do?!"
"Isn't it obvious? I had to complete your look, doll. The deal is it comes off if you help me out tonight. Your father was my first choice but he's clearly busy."
"No! There's no way in hell!"
"Come on.... you'll do it or I'll let your dad know you tried to sneak out behind his back."
"But..."
Damian's voice trailed off. He really was caught in between a rock and a hard place. "What if someone recognizes me?" His face reddened. He'd never live it down if Dick, Jason, Tim, or Barbara saw him like this.
"No one is going to recognize you, kid. You look and sound like a girl. Besides, I don't wanna change you back so soon! I always wanted a sidekick. Hmmmm...."
She circled Damian like a vulture, running the back of her clawed finger around the boy's waist.
"I think we'll call you Catgirl. Yeah, that sounds cute."
