Miss sweetwater looks over the entire class and says “Now, can I please have 2 students join me up front for a little demonstration”?
You decide not to volunteer, since that wasn’t the type of person that you were, as you expected, no one else volunteered, miss sweetwater grabs a clipboard with a list of names and says “well then, I guess I’m gonna be picking the volunteers”, you try to hide but it doesn’t work, miss sweetwater says “Jason, please come up to the front”. You see miss sweetwater grab a remote with thousands of buttons, she presses one of them and the straps restraining you to the desk are removed, as you slowly stand up and make your way towards the front, miss sweetwater looks at the clipboard, looks around the room and says “Randall, please join Jason up the front”.
As you and Randall are escorted over to a pair of high chairs, miss sweetwater straps you both into the high chairs, places a spoon in front of each of you, places a large bowl of oatmeal in between you both and says “Jason and Randall, please show me the correct way to eat”? Without thinking, you both scoop up a spoonful of oatmeal, but just before you put the spoon in your mouth, miss sweetwater suddenly snatches the spoons out of your hands and says “uh uh uh, I’m sorry but that’s Incorrect”.
You both look at her confused as she says “don’t worry I’ll show you the proper way, but first, a couple of things that everyone in this room need to know”. As she ties a bib around your neck and a bib around Randall’s neck, miss sweetwater says “now before we get into the proper way to be fed, there’s some things that everyone in this room need to know. Firstly, if there’s one thing that madam Miriam, miss Ethel and the rest of the kitchen staff here at the academy do not appreciate or have any tolerance for, it’s wasted food. So the number one rule when it comes to mealtimes is, all food and drink put in front of you must be consumed before you can leave the cafeteria, secondly, if you need to make wettums or poopies in your diaper, it’s highly recommended that you do them an hour before your 3 daily allocated diaper checks. Finally, Your personal caretaker will be in charge of all feedings, no ifs, ands, buts or questions asked. Now, let’s all learn about the proper way to be fed”.
As miss sweetwater starts to stir the oatmeal, she says “now, when being fed, it’s really important that you relax your mouth and open up nice and wide, but make sure that you don’t open up too wide to the point where it hurts, and don’t struggle. Also don’t be so eager to get feedings over with, A feeding can be a fun time between a caretaker and a baby, so if your caretaker decides to use her imagination and have a little fun during feeding time, don’t resist it, embrace it”.
Miss sweetwater scoops up a large spoonful of oatmeal, looks at you and Randall and says “now, who wants to go first”? Randall opens his mouth and miss sweetwater says “that’s good Randall, just a little bit wider please”, Randall opens his mouth up more and as miss sweetwater feeds him the oatmeal she says “mmm, isn’t that yummy”. Miss sweetwater scoops up more oatmeal, looks at you and says “ok Jason, your turn, let’s have some fun”. As miss sweetwater moves the spoon around and makes airplane noises, she says “open up the hanger baby Jason, here comes the airplane”. As you swallow the mush, miss sweetwater praises you both, removes you both from the high chairs and straps you both back to your desks and walks back over to her desk.
Miss sweetwater leaves the room, returns with a spoon, an even bigger bowl of oatmeal, multiple bibs and says “I hope everyone here was paying attention, because now I’m going to go through the entire class one by one, I’ll put a bib on you and feed you a spoonful of oatmeal to see if you’ve learnt by watching Jason and Randall”.
The entire class was successful and as miss sweetwater fed the last student the last spoonful of oatmeal, she sat back down at her desk, puts the bowl and spoon away and says “ok class, time for the second part of today’s lesson.
