When Jake woke up, he was still at the mall. He had no idea how long he had been unconscious, but the food court was now empty and the lights were dimmed. He sat up, groggy and disoriented, and tried to piece together what had happened.
The last thing he remembered was feeling dizzy and nauseous, and hearing a faint voice in his ear. He had a strong sense that he had been the victim of a magic spell, but he couldn't be sure.
As Jake stumbled to his feet, he noticed a group of people standing nearby, watching him with concern. "Are you okay?" one of them asked.
Jake nodded, still feeling a bit unsteady. "I think so," he said. "What happened?"
The people looked at each other, seeming unsure how to explain. "We found you passed out on the floor," one of them said. "We were about to call for help when you started to wake up."
Jake frowned, trying to make sense of it all. He had a feeling that the magic spell had something to do with it, but he didn't know how to prove it. He had to find a way to break the spell and figure out who was behind it.
He looked around the food court, hoping to find a clue or some kind of hint. But there was nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual fast food chains and tables and chairs. He sighed, feeling frustrated and confused. It seemed that he was on his own in this strange and mysterious situation.
As Jake stands up he realizes something is very off.
