Bradley hadn't seen his brother for a few years, not since they flew to visit last year. He had promised them for months to come visit but kept putting it off due to the cost of air travel, though that was just an excuse as he disliked flying. But when there was a massive sale on during a time his work was quite slow it didn't leave him with much of an excuse so he begrudgingly booked a flight.
When the day of his flight came, he found everything went over rather smoothly. He made it with plenty of time to spare and was able to get a seat close to the gate. As he didn't fly at all he didn't even notice that there were more people than what there should be, he just thought they didn't make enough seats.
When the plane began boarding he was one of the first people to arrive and took his seat and began to settle in when a woman cleared her throat. "Excuse me, you're in my seat," she said with a polite but firm tone.
Bradley apologized and stood up letting her sit down before looking to find his seat only to realise that he was in the correct one. "Um... are you sure. My boarding pass says 3F so that's my seat."
The woman looked up at Bradley annoyed but he wasn't sure if it was at him or the situation. "Mine also say's 3F," she said and showed him her boarding pass to confirm she wasn't lying. She then waved down a flight attendant.
"What seems to be the problem miss?" the attendant asked with a smile on her face.
"We've both been given the same seat..." the woman explained, taking charge of the situation.
The flight attendant looked at both their boarding passes and gave a slight nod. "I see, it looks like this seat has been double booked. I'll get this sorted out in just a second." She pulled out a device and aimed it at both Bradley and the woman and activated it. Both Bradley and the woman looked at her stunned as they came to terms with what had just happened. "I'm happy to be of assistance," the flight attendant smiled once more before continuing on to someone having the same issue.
