BOOM.
A harsh thud of metal hitting dirt could be heard in the nearby area of the unknown planet. The origin of the thud in question? Samus Aran. A bounty hunter feared by thousands. Clad in her signature power suit, her heads up display scanned the area around her as she stood to full height.
(No signs of life so far. Hopefully the Federation is onto something here)
The space mercenary’s mind races as she walks forward slightly, a small breeze distracts her enough to raise her arm cannon toward the source of the noise….only to see a small bird-like life form flutter out of the bushes. Samus kept the arm cannon trained on it as she stepped closer to it….only for the bird to tilt its head in response….before flying up…and rest on Samus’s plated shoulders.
Blink. Blink.
(Doesn’t seem to be….attacking me? It’s not related to the Chozo that’s for sure. Too animal like. Not humanoid in the slightest. I guess I’ll leave it be. I’d rather not provoke anything on here)
Although as she turns her attention back forward, she notices something…a large steel door.
(Alright. That was easy. Thought I’d have to do a bit more digging to find the lab.)
She runs up to the door…full of vigor and reaches out to the keypad on the door.

A metallic voice rang out as the door slowly opened. A transparent veil made up the door frames….being the ever cautious bounty hunter that she was…she slowly stretched her arm cannon out, if it got destroyed she could regenerate it.
(Better to risk a cannon than a limb)
She thought, yet to her surprise, the material of the Power Suit faded away….her gloved hand now outstretched through the mystical veil frame.
“Some form of security barrier? Adam. What is this exactly?”
Samus called out to her life-long comrade turned AI.
*it is very probable that this door is a security measure used to remove weapons or equipment that could be dangerous to the materials inside the facility. Therefore, your Power Suit will be temporarily disabled while inside the parameters of the facility*
Adam explained, causing Samus to shrug in response.
(Fine with me, I’ve done it before I’ll do it again.)
