Joe popped open the door to the lab flyers in hand. He raced around to his area but to his utter sadness it was not Jenny who greeted him. “Flowers for me. Thank you. I’m so excited for our date.” Kelly walked over and gave Joe a big hug. He couldn’t believe it. Tricked by Jenny and of all the girls Kelly the runt of the the litter. “Hey Kelly nice to see you.” The look on his face said it all. “You thought Jenny was coming didn’t you. “ “well she said she was so I assumed so.” Kelly had gotten used to this over time. No one wants the shrimp. Tears began to well up in her eyes. Joe realized it was not her fault.
