You run to your room and remove your pants. You put on four pairs of briefs over the pair you are wearing. Then you cut leg holes out of a plastic bag and put them on too. It was like a makeshift diaper. If you had an accident, no one would know...with a bit of luck. It would only have to work until you bought real diapers. You pulled your pants up.
"I'm ready."
"Here did you go?"
"Just to get a little insurance."
You ride to the drugstore. Heidi is in the back seat. You walk in and walk straight to the incontinence aisle. You found the diapers in your size and picked up a pack. Then you thought again and got another which you gave to Heidi to hold. You didn't want to be short again.
You weren't sure if you leaked a little, but were happy that there weren't any spots in your pants. You looked around before heading up to the counter.
"Don't you remember," Heidi instructed you, "That..."
