While Riley worked to free you from the seat cushion, you took the opportunity to do some introspection. After all, there wasn't a lot you could do to aid your daughter in her work. Being beaten by two bodacious booties in such a short span of time had temporarily knocked the wind out of your system, and letting Riley peel you free and coax you into reforming was a better idea than fruitfully trying to expend even more energy.
Your mind was a bit foggy, and you temporarily couldn't recall what it was that you had had planned for today. Thinking back, you remembered it being something related to hanging out with one of your friends, and not with a family member. Vaguely, you could recall receiving some texts over the past few days from your friend circle, each of them asking either to see you visit or requesting some specific favor or other. In your hazy mind, they were all blurring together.
However, after Riley freed you and let you rest on the kitchen table, you were able to better visualize the multiple possibilities in your head. Out of all of them, though, which was the one you were going to tackle today?
1) Piper, Dodger, Sydney, and Rosa are having another Banshees of Inches-Higher concert at the local club, and they had all wanted you to attend. While big crowds, loud music, and flashing lights wasn't normally your cup of tea, you realized it had been a while since your last concert and that showing up could probably be fun.
2) Selena and Viola had requested your presence at The Oasis, and it didn't seem like it was just for a family-friendly visit. It had been a few weeks since your last official hangout with the two of them, and with their tiny daughter, Grace. Maybe it would be good to visit and see what they needed help with.
3) Ashley had wanted you to stop by her bakery, Auntie Ashley's, and pitch in as her affected assistant for the day. The way the redhead had worded her text, her previous tiny assistant had mysteriously disappeared, so she'd been short-staffed for a bit and in need of some help. Surely nothing could go wrong with the infamously oblivious ditz herself, right?
4) You're heading over to the Small Wonders compound to do some more collaboration work with the crazy group of pro-tiny researchers and inventors who call the place home. It's always an adventure when you visit, and it's been a few months since you've last seen the likes of Tina, Mackenzie, Manny, Rebecca, and Sophie. You're hopeful for another productive (and hopefully less accident-filled than last time) day!
