Cynthia had taken Stan to the other side of the precinct. He saw Izzy laughing with some friends but when she looked in the commissioner’s direction she quickly averted her eyes and walked away, in order to make it seem like she was busy. The sight of his former partner filled with fear was enjoyable to see after a long time of her looming over him.
They walked into the jail portion of the station, where three large cells capable of holding ten to twelve criminals each were affixed into the walls. The was a large desk with a computer, a smaller desk was on it that essentially was a carbon copy of the larger one. “Alright, Padding. You are to be the morning Jail Guard at the precinct. It used to be 70 year old Mildred but thanks to your inability to be a true officer, we’ll just have to hope Officer Lopez doesn’t break her. Besides, mornings are safe, there will be more criminals leaving than coming.” Cynthia explained
A horrible thought of Izzy sitting on the poor fragile Mildred occupied Stan’s thoughts, but then he was snapped back to reality when he realized he was working the slow shift. “Uh, Commissioner Rice. I’m fine with working the busier night shift.” He said hopeful. “I’m not, the whole purpose of doing this is to minimize incidents that can happen to you.” She said, authority radiating from her intense glare. “Report here tomorrow and get comfortable with your new post.”

Stan hadn’t slept well last night. It felt like his career was over, but he couldn’t give up hope, he’s still on the force. He arrived at the jail, no one in sight. He climbed up to his desk and turned his computer on. He was set up with the files the precinct had on each and every criminal that has passed by these cells. Suddenly the door was opening and he heard the jangling of handcuffs. Who was coming?
