Stannis slowly woke up. All around him he still felt the heat. Only it was bright daylight and not the heat from fire. More like a hot day in Dorne. He opened his eyes and saw above him a leather tent… how did he get here?
Outside were men speaking. A strange tongue he had never heard before. It was not the common tongue of Westeros, nor a strange dialect. It had to be an eastern language. Some of the pirates Davos had hired? Did his men find him again?
Stannis no longer felt hurt but he did feel weak. He tried to sit up. He was much lighter now. It was not just that he wasn’t wearing armour… his whole body felt lighter. As he set up white hair fell down besides his face. “What is the name of the lord of light is this?” He said out loud. He got even more confused hearing the voice in which he spoke now. It was a soft voice, a woman’s voice.
Stannis looked down and saw breast sticking out from his chest. His arms were hairless and his hands were slender. “What did that fire woman do to me?!” He yelled out unlike his stoic demeanour.
He looked around until he saw a small mirror on a nightstand. It looked like one you would find in the red keep at court. Richly decorated with gems. It was small however, hand sized. He took it up in his hand and brought it to his face. The reflection was the one of a young woman. White hair and fierce purple eyes.
Stannis recognised these features… Targaryen hair and eyes…
