You find yourself back in the orphanage, laying snugly in your bed. You get up and stretch, glancing out the window to see the blizzard hammering at the window. You shiver, remembering your apparent dream of being out there, in the cold, unrelenting snow and wind after abandoning your two best friends, Lucas and Lila. Wait! Where's Lucas and Lila? You thunder downstairs and hear sad music, like that of a funeral. You enter a large room in the orphanage that you were sure wasn't there before. Inside, you see thousands of people all staring at two objects in the middle of the room. Coffins. You glance inside and see the pale faces of Lucas and Lila. Thoughts pound through your head. How could this happen? Why?
"Lucas Tale and Lila Mason froze in the blizzard that is currently raging," an unidentified voice booms through the room. You become terribly dizzy and you stumble away from the coffins. Words echo through the room, saying, "It's all your fault...all your fault...all your fault..."
And you just know the words are meant for you.
"No," you murmur, then shout, "No!"
You fight back tears, then feel cold blasting your face and realize your eyes are closed. You tentatively open your eyes and see only white. Snow continues to blast your face, and the wind whips your hair around. You sit up and rub your eyes. Yes! It was only a dream! But...what if Lucas and Lila were currently freezing? You should go find them and try to keep them safe. But you still would like to go back to the orphanage to be safe. What should you do?
