The class was loud as always. Someone discussed gossip, someone repeated the topic before class, someone shared stories, but... there was a trinity with their own wave.
Of course it was Jane, David and Tyler. David, number 8 from the so-called “best” table in sports. This table is the school principal's initiative (don't ask why, just accept it). Tyler is number 10 in this table, Jane is his girlfriend.
But these people are not the ones we will talk about. When the door opened, 2 people entered the classroom. Huge, muscular, 7ft 1in athlete. Number 3 from the table. Joe. Along with him is a guy who is 5ft 11in, ridiculously small compared to Joe. Genius at school. Responsible for the strategy of the entire school team. Denny.
Many schoolchildren are afraid of this duet. It is not entirely known when they met, how they became friends, or whether there is anything between them other than... friendship( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Why am I saying this? Well, after school, Denny asked Joe to come into the chemistry room. And he said that there would be a surprise from him. Joe was naturally intrigued and looked forward to the end of the day.
It was already evening outside and after training, Joe happily went to the chemistry room. When he entered, he saw Denny. His face was distorted by a maniacal smile, and his pupils shrank. He looks like he's on drugs, well yes and no. This happens when Danny is very involved in the process and/or expects the outcome. Joe had gotten used to this a long time ago, but still decided to go out so as not to distract Denny. After a couple of minutes, Denny said, come in. -So, what is this, Mister Genius. In Denny's hand was a bottle of liquid that looked like water. -Your way to the top, Mr. Jock. -What do you mean? Joe understood what we were talking about, about the “best” table, but... how could he defeat them? Numbers 1 and 2 in the table are 2 brothers Nick and Greg. Greg is 7'9" and looks like he belongs in a bodybuilding competition and Nick is 8'4" with muscles like gold (don't ask how they grew so fucking huge. I don't know). These titans cannot be defeated purely physically. -Yes, you can’t defeat them now. No strategy will help. But if you were their size or even bigger, then we would have a chance.
-What I have in my hand I simply named. Growth serum. By taking it you will grow 1 inch over the course of a month and eventually you will be ± 9'7" tall. Plus, your muscles will grow ± 20 pounds per day -But just 9 feet will be enough for me. -I have the antidote, don't worry. With these words he handed him the bottle. -And if you mix it with water, something will happen? -I don't know, maybe yes, maybe not. With these words they went home. It just so happened that Joe and Denny's parents left (how convenient) and Denny decided to spend the night with Joe. However, the comedy is that Denny doesn’t have an antidote. He lied about it. And he lied about the fact that the Growth Serum only lasts 30 days. In fact, the Serum works indefinitely, but after thirty days it’s effective weakens from 1 inch per day to 0.1 per day. And Joe didn't want to use the serum on himself. He wanted to use it on Denny
The thing is that if Joe has been in love with Denny for a long time but there has always been a problem. Height and musculature. Compared to Denny, Joe is absurdly huge. But now Joe had a way to solve this problem. And he was going to solve it.
After a few rounds of Mortal Kombat, jokes, 2 pepperonis, and conversations about tomorrow, Joe lied that he would drink the serum at 00:00. And when Denny was getting ready to sleep, he asked for water. An ideal chance to use the serum. In the kitchen, he took a glass, poured in the whey and diluted it in water (there wasn’t much of it, just half a glass). After giving it to Denny and waiting until he fell asleep, Joe went to bed. With the hope that the serum will work.
When he woke up, he smelled the smell of fresh coffee. Arriving at the kitchen, he saw Denny drinking his space-dark coffee. However, Joe also noticed that Denny had changed.
Now I want to ask you a question. I know, breaking the fourth wall is bad, but still. How fast will Denny grow?
